Vancouver police are investigating after a Vancouver dispensary was brazenly robbed at gunpoint.

Investigators say three men and one woman armed with guns entered the Stressed and Depressed pot shop at Knight St. and 41st Ave, just before 9pm Sunday.

They then robbed the location of cash and pot products.

This place has already had issues with soneone driving a vehicle through the store front in the past. (same happened at a local dispensary here in Ottawa recently). David Malmo Levine from Canabis Culture is the owner.

Fucken idiots , nice clear camera footage for once too. Wheres that shit when people claim to see a UFO or Bigfoot? Anyway, with facebooks facial recognition im sure theres lots of pictures to match these to. Wont take long to find them

Lets just hope these winners dont breed

Three men are facing a slew of robbery and firearms charges after allegedly holding up a Vancouver pot shop at gunpoint.

The robbery happened at the Stressed and Depressed dispensary at Knight and 41st last Sunday, but the entire incident was captured in unusually clear surveillance footage.

It’s the third time the pot shop has been robbed since opening.

Sgt. Brian Montague with the Vancouver Police says on Saturday, police executed search warrants on two houses in Surrey and one in Delta arresting three men believed to be the ones in the images.

The woman pictured is still on the run.

28 year old Darnel Matsui from Medicine Hat is now facing five charges, including robbery with violence (firearm), unauthorized possession of a firearm, and uttering threats.

26 year old Hosea Smith from Calgary has been charged with robbery with violence and assault.

And a Surrey resident, Cory Robert Ulmer Brown, is facing four charges including robbery with violence and pointing a firearm.

The thieves made off with a quantity of cash and marijuana products, and Montague says while Stressed and Depressed will get their money back, they’ll lose the pot.

“We legally can’t return an illegal product to a victim, so if marijuana is recovered we have to put that in for evidence and then for destruction, we cannot provide it back.”

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the woman in the images to call 604-717-0613, or Crime Stoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.

The real story here is in the fine lines. The fact that they got robbed, had cameras and were not afraid to call the police. In a black market world, cops would of never been called, and you would of ended up with 2 crimes going un noticed by the cops
1 - selling of illegal cannabis
2 - robbery
at least when people are trying to be legit then they can call the cops so they can do real police work and bust the real bad guys.
In a blk market world you might have even ended up with a murder because whos to say if the dealers did not go after them for revenge. In a way this robbery proves why people in this industry need protection.

'legal' removes the violent element...isn't that what they were going for? You get jackasses like these guys...but they're much more likely to hit pharmacies for the opiates. Vancouver cops treat dispensaries like any other business and offer the same protections. That needs to be law country wide.

Talk about not even trying. Not even an attempt to cover their faces, how else did they think that was going to turn out?

how did they get into the back? one of them had to have a membership or did they just pull out guns and say "let us in the back" and then go to the back door and let their friends in...??
there should be some kind of paper trail for whoever had the membership
