Valium

I have taken valium before and in my opinion 20mg is way too much if you want to be driving. Apart from making you feel drowsy, valium also affects your coordination giving your arms and legs feel kind of jelly-like. Obviously this would not be good while driving. The come-up doesn't take too long - perhaps around an hour - so I would strongly advise starting with a lower dose of maybe 5mg and then topping this up should you feel it is necessary. Apparently if you take it on an empty stomach it works better and also if you drink grapefruit juice this can increase the effect but I have not personally tried the second so could tell you if this is true. Maybe check out Erowid Diazepam (Valium) Vault for a better idea of effects.

ahhh Valium your best bet is to chew em up is you want em to hit you faster or snort em that works if your into that but if your not used to em practice driving on em 1st caus they can through you off for a min. but i used to eat em like candy maybe like 50mg and another 10mg every hour or so and drive everywhere but then i used to drink and drive to so maybe you don't want to listen to me

Yeah its enough if you're not used to it maybe. Try taking 5 in the morning and 5 before your test IF you take any. I wouldn't myself as Benzos affect your co-ordination. Think of it as being a little bit drunk and stoned: Relaxed and happy but also forgetful and uncoordinated- you might ruin your chances if you're not used to it.

I was prescribed and was addicted to benzodiazepines a long while ago now and would take 100mg+ a day or the equivalent benzo- sometimes much more than this- this doesn't mean he should take 2 blues before his test.

A word of warning- If you have an addictive streak watch out as they can become habit-forming and I've done some really regrettable things I cant even remember while wasted. The withdrawal symptoms are also awful and can last for months.

Valium (Diazepam) is a benzodiazepine and is not comparable with Vicodin (Oxycodone) which is an opiate. It may, however, provide a sense of well-being or relaxation similar to the effects of other drugs.

Having a read of experiences in the Diazepam section on Erowid is probably not a bad idea. Good luck with the test.

Valium isn't that good? Valium is amazing. A typical dosage to is about 5mg 3x daily for a male(assumption) of 75kg. It does miracles for anxiety. It's even on the W.H.O.s list of 100 most essential drugs. Yeah if you have no tolerance to benzodiazepines I wouldn't take 20mg before I drove.

To clarify, I am talking about the medicinal usages of benzos. No, I wouldn't plan a weekend around my refill of Valium. It just helps my anxiety. If I want a drug that will whack me out of my skull I'll take shrooms. Too much bunk LSD and X going around these days.
