Since I know have my refund check ,and have decided that california is the place to go, I would like to see what all the cali people think the world needs to see. My family is fromt here, so i have seen some of it.
What i want to know, is what would you, as california cats, or california visitors even, would see while there. Live shows, beaches, forests, landmarks, whatever. My wife has never been there, and is very excited.
We are flying into La county, and then making our way north, I have family in sac town, and livermore. I have also never been to the legendary Humboldt county. I think i might go there and take my picture with some hippies. No really, my conan reading, commune living uncle lives somewhere up there, so I mght try to track him down. Let me know my peoples. This might be our only vacation away from the kids in our lifetime. LEts all work together to make this Rudolph Pimpetino:blsmoke:

Hey!

I reccomend spending an afternoon in Venice while in the L.A area. Go to this hole in the wall amazing vietnamese place called China Beach for lunch and then walk to the beach where you can buy anything from really cheap (and usually pretty nice) blown glass pieces and basically anything else you can imagine. It's fun to watch street performers for a little bit too. That would take up a few hours of your time at the most. Possibly go catch a concert on the Sunset Strip later that night? On Saturdays in a cemetary in Hollywood they show movies on a big projection screen and about 300-500 people come to watch the movies, pass around joints, drink wine and eat food from trader joes...its fun:joint:. It's really a good atmosphere and they have security and rest room areas. Give me an idea of what you're into and I can give more options. Hope your stay is well!:peace:
