Hey all, just had a few questions for you more experience fellas.
First off, how long do you guys normally vac purge for? And how long do you let your pump run with each pull. I can pull a full vacuum on my AI 1.9 in under 15 minutes but I see some of these guys running the crap out of their pumps.
Also, any tips on single solvent dewaxing would be appreciated. I've just picked up a closed loop but have been waiting for my recovery pump to show up before running it. I've got a regular 5lb material tube and a 3.75lb dewaxing tube. Both the collection tank and the shatter platter are jacketed so I can run water through it to help with recovery and purging.
The problem with the product I'm getting now is I'm not dewaxing, so after a 48 hour purge, pulling a fresh vacuum and flipping every few hours I end up with more of a pull n snap. At around 60 degrees it will snap but at room temp its more taffy like.
I'd post a link up to my closed loop setup but the company I grabbed it from hasn't even listed it yet. Happened to already buy a few things from them and he let me know they just got these in.
