Help!

  • 1) PICTURE OF PLANT at bottom.
    2) Growing indoor. Master x OG kush from clones
    3) Watering schedule: when dry via meter every 3-4 days ph @ 6.5, Vita-grow 3 part nut. started at 1/4 strength upped to half dose as indicated on label for "herbs"
    4) Growing Medium: black gold soil (orange flower on bag) great drainage, did great during veg.
    5) What stage of growth: 5th week of flower
    6) 400w HPS 3x3 tent RH 35-40 Temps: 80 lights on 70 lights off

I started having problems after I started having a bout with Powdery Mildew around 1st week of flower after 2 weeks of veg. I used baking soda spray (washing leaves between weekly spray), then started with Green Cure and am using it to this date weekly in 1/2 tbls per gallon. The leaves started to yellow on older growth mid way up (hard to tell because I LST them) and now dead spots and dead brown/yellowing/ spots and the top fan leaves in the buds are purple underneith and on the stems of the leaf only. The lower leaves and buds have no purple. I thought it was a ph problem after the Baking soda, so I flushed each with 2 gallons of ph water finishing with a 1/4 strenth vita-grow 3 part (A,B&C) at 6.3-6.5 and the runoff was great at 6.5...

Next day I saw no difference it was a little more yellow up top. I hit them with 1 tsp of Epsom salts/gallon after 3 days and hit them with a little folier spray of the same mix. They "seemed" a bit more green the next day but the brown spots kept growing and killing off the leaves. I trimmed the dead spots off and it seemed to slow the dieing but today there was more dead leaf and the yellowing tops and with purple undersides still on the upper portion. Now I have no idea what to do. How often can you folier treat with Epsom water?

mix a few tablespoons of water in with your next water...just in case there is overfert at hand here...and the sugar will help if it is overfertilized, and if it isn't then it won't do anything to harm the plant, unlike flushing and what not...it really might be what you are/were using for the PM...sometimes things just have an effect on plants...also make sure that the plants are getting enough potassium...I had a plant kinda turn like this in flower last go about but my leaves were curled down...anyway it looked like hell! and i never did pinpoint where it had gone wrong...was still wondering at harvest...

So...I don't have any idea what the problem is, but sugar will rid out overfert as the issue..without causing any harm to the plant...lol...and I do notice that all your leaf tips have a burnt tip which is caused my overfert, it just doesn't usually make the leaves curve up like that...but then again if it is impeding the uptake of water then I guess it could make them v...usually a plant that is too dry will curve it's leaves up to try and "catch the rain" or any water in the air...

Cool! thx! Ill hit em with just water and back down on the Nute schedule also I'll look into the suger thing. It is odd that the v is so bad, it doesnt change after watering. Some look almost folded in half near the "palm" part of the fingers. and the buring is only the very tips, not along the zig-zag like I am used to seeing with nute burn. Next watering should be tomorrow by my gauge; so H20 and a few prayers it makes it to harvest over the next few weeks!? I also had the 400w HPS in a cool hood about 10-12 inches from the tops. I just raised them about 4 more inches in hope of letting up some stress on them.

great advice on sugar carb load give it a huge boost in energy useage which leads to greater cell activity to coup with stress/use excess nutes in tissue if u can find it dextose works even better already broken down to less complex molcules.pm is a pain just when u think it gone its back, kinda like herpies for plants , what was ur dose of baking soda i have just encountered PM after 18 years of never having seen it only heard until 51/2 weeks ago its ur baking soda think bout whats in it CALCUIM CORBONTATE which in high doses (20mlliter i used n same thing happen just not as extreme )causes lock out nutes are maganesse andmagnesium and im guessing potassium CC too also causes the burnt spots u are seeing thats not the solution to add more nutes in defishant if thats what i was gonna say ,u have to rince those leaves plain r.o/disstilled water few times add drop wettn agent to litre reduse surface tension allow greater absorbtion plain water is hard to get in without this then either use 200ml 1%milk only as any other is too oily to 2literswater kills but no lasting power,n run into thats calcuim problems iam using neem iol 2ml liter n works great lasts bout 7 days if washed off same day but good old 7.0ph'd water kills it aswell added bonus less rh spike (no rincse), ur rh is great its only helps slow PM growth temps never go below 75 Even at night, better air under the conapy up will help make sure plants are spaced apart if possible better air flow also if possible 45 watts or higher also slows right down follow this and ull be fine TRUST ME u do know any cutting taking from this stock has PM also regaredless if seen just get right conditions n bang its back

So water it is for the next week. That will put it into week6 =( It is a 8 week strain so am I just effed in the nute department now since it would normally be flushing time?? This is not my first grow, my last was in college, just a closet with 4 ft flouros and a muffen fan. No PH, no proper venting (or odor control) and I never had PM or any other problems but a bit of N deficiency from the crappy shultz fert I was using.... Frustrating that these clones from the dispensary apparently came infected... I might try a tsp of sugar per gallon and see. I found a little more PM on the top of a bud-linked fan leaf on the very bottom of a cola but no sign anywhere else. And by little I mean the size of the lead part on a sharpened pencil. I hit them again top to bottom with Green Cure at a little less than 1/2 tbls per gallon. ( It doesnt burn the pistols and keeps a high alkelinity and has a wetting agent) and removed the leaf with the MP (realized I should have taken a pic but I flushed it down the toilet ASAP). Ill try to get more pics of how it looks today at lights on (later this evening) Thanks for the help guys... I really appreciate it this being my first official personal medical grow.

thats how i got it dude ppl not caring id cont with nutes now u have to watch ur hairs for burn not leaves but 2 weeks left it gonna be very hard as its do difficult to put in words the sutle diffs in the ripeing and burning of hairs( but if they goning little tip hair just cut off this is sign of nute burn on hairs ill see if i can find some referance material for u pics say a thousand words ) if u know the strains needs if not least giv 100% of what u were if they were fine before sprays, but only after u wash n flush ur system waut a day then apply nutesthis will lower cf inside plants cells lowering stress and water demands due to this problem plus ur yeild wont go to the wind id use ph'd7 water kill pm till havest as this will also kill pm with no bad tastesjust dont get buds wet thier small enough grab paint brush n spot treat pm is bad gettn into the leaves just under ur bedset check these n treat as pm is not best for ur lungs n tastes real bad keep lights 18inches higher till dry n no direct fan also till dry
