Hey Guys/Gals....

Just wondering since rain water is good for using for feed water mix, would snow also be good if it was clean and nothing else in it, like fresh fallen snow???

Would it also have low ppm like rain water???

Hope a few can reply to give their ideals on this THanks..>!

yep should be. I haven't tested it but hell we would melt and drink it in the outback.
Just make sure you give it time to warm up enough before watering the plants
so you don't shock the rootzone with colddddd water.. obviously :)

It should not be a problem since you are likely adjust the PPM in the water with nutrients in the first place... I would watch out for ACID RAIN!!!! Joking!

Just give it time to warm up, then nute and PH it to your taste. Remember snow is 1/10 the volume of water.

i filled a 5 gallon bucket and after thawed was half full

Thats interesting because once I filled an old oil drum with snow and melted it with a tiger torch and it was close to what Dev said (1/10). I guess it would depend on where you live and how humid it is. Where I live winter lasts 6 months out of the year and RH is between 10-15 outdoors (fuckin dry).

well i got about 2 foot on the ground now and u really gotta pack it in there u can't just throw some in till the top and stop

Well I'm sold on the idea, I'm just a little embarrased that its been staring me in the face this whole time and I didn't see it.
