Using dry ice with BHO

I was thinking that since chlorophyll is less soluble in butane or ethanol when it gets extremely cold so if you we're to put a small piece of dry ice into your extraction tube in between each and every nug you stuff into the tube then it will be so cold inside the tube that the butane will only extract the minimal amount of chlorophyll possible.
Give me feedback and if you try this then please post results.

We do that already we put a piece of DryIce in the top in the middle and the bottom it acts as a Carbonate it helps the bottom of the Extractor not clog up moving the trich tails

if anyone know about the mason jar tek, blast a bottle of butane into a mason jar filled with some plant material and allow to soak, would it be possible to put a piece of dry ice in the jar to help keep the butane liquid, and set that glass on top of a layer of dry ice to keep the dryice in with butane solid?

dude dry ice has a lot of potential to hurt you real bad if you plan on pressurizing glass. Even if both ends are open, it can be plugged in the center and blast apart from there. What are you guys even discussing?

Glass doesn't like rapid temperature changes. It might be easier and safer to just use a pre frozen stainless steel thermos and skip the dry ice.

basically the issue with my idea is the container, you guy recommend something stronger than glass essentially. alright ill look into it.

as for eliminating the dryice... well how cold do you think it will get? the solvent will still do its job even at such low temps?

Butane extraction slows down significantly, and at just -18C/0F, it can take a couple hours to extract 90% of the resin present. That is why I suggest a thermos, where the material can soak in the material for extended periods of time, at atmospheric pressure.

I notice Jump is on the forum and was one of the pioneers developing the process. I'm guessing that he has a post on extracting Absolute Amber using that process, on this forum.
