Using dehydrated material for tea

So I've been wondering about something. I want to start using stinning nettle and comfrey teas in my soil. Im back home in the PNW and we have a shit ton on the trails that I go hiking on. My question is can I pick them an dehydrate them and use them in teas later with the same strength/effect as using fresh nettle/comfrey to make tea?

I cannot see why it would not work just fine. Kelp meal, alfalfa, are just dehydrated forms of the former plant. I cannot say for sure if it is more or less beneficial using fresh rather than dehydrated/dryed.

Sure. Or you could make a fermented plant extract from them as well. In simple terms this process allows microbes to break down the nutrient value tied up in the raw material making it plant available.

This can be stored for months so might be a good way of making use of the nettle and comfrey

Interesting I've looked into it. So after you've made this plant extract do you apply straight into the soil or woild it be more beneficial to further this process by putting into an AACT?

I've never added it to a compost tea. Dilute and apply as a soil drench or foliar
