Using CFL's for mother plants

I'm thinking of using 2 125 watt CFL lights for my mothers, I was wondering if my plants would have a hard time adjusting to a 400 watt MH and then a 1000 watt HPS. would the plants be weaker? the reason i would be doing this is power concerns it would help a lot to have only have the cfl's on 18/6. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

If they are mother plants, why would you be moving them under stronger lights?

cfls are perfect for mothers and ur clones, moving my plants into the 1000 wtt hps flower room has never hurt them or made them weaker

ok, great thanks, I guess you could even use CFL's for mothers clones and even veging before switching to 1000 watt hps for flowering?
