What up, I picked up some AVID miticide for my mothers which had been affected by spidermites. It works well but I was wondering if anyone knew if it was ok to use on cuttings?

Hey,

So, you have used Avid.

Have you smoked any buds from a plant thats was treated?
I have some but I am chicken shit to use it.

I use neem oil. Thats what you can do with your clones. Mix up some neem oil in water with dishsoap and dunk them in it.

I use Einstein Oil which is basically a concentrated version of neem oil but it didn't seem to work on these spidermites, these little guys are strong. I have yet to try anything I know was treated with avid, but I haven't heard anything about the quality being affected.

Avid is ok to use on cuttings/babies .... You want to spray it on young plants because the pesticide stays in the plant for 45 days...Dont use Avid if your in BUD/FLOWER

Thats what I was lookin for, I get the mites 3rd to 4th week in flower and Knew it stayed in the plant but not for how long. So, your understanding its 45 days. Where did you hear this. Or have you done it.

I had mites bad for about a year...then I used the avid on my clones I took from a infected mom.....I never have had them since then.

The store I bought the Avid from told me to spray before I cut my lights....most strains will bud/flower atleast 7-8 weeks.....The store owner told me atleast 45 days or 6 weeks

The Avid seemed to do the job on the clones and I couldn't see any visible stress, thanks for the info guys
