hi, im trying to figure out how to use additives correctly. I have some bud candy, and bigbud liquid. When using additives do i need to cut back on base nutes or do i just add them to whatever my base is already at? im pretty sure i just add them with my base nutes normal but i want to double check. also should i cut back from full doses of addictives since im doing aero or does it really matter? i will be going into flower anytime this week.

just always start at 1/4 strength of what bottle says if your never sure. i dont like idea of reducing a and b nutrients because that is whaere all base nutes and micro nutes are, everything else is jus icing on cake.

Unless you have a worthless additive like bud candy, then you really need to be careful when adding an additive that will actually help your plants. Take hydroplex for example; it's an additive that can be added but needs to be balanced with the base nute line or it'll burn the plants. My point is that if you're using an additive to actually help your plants, then it needs to be used in a dose that isn't too strong given the base nute line.
