Has anyone used both of these? I used the ushio 600watt super hps last time and it was pretty good. I went to get an Ushio 600wt mh and I didn't feel like paying $80 for a mh so I went with the advanced nutrients badass mh. It was a lot cheaper has anyone used an hps from both companies? If not I'll probably go with the Ushio since I know it's good already.

For the price id go with plantmax 600hps. No kidding you wont know the difference between it and that ushio. You can buy 2 for 80 bucks and swap twice as often.

Hmm I might try to plant max then. I usually run a bulb til it's done tho. But running for two runs is a good idea. And this is gonna be my last run til I move to Colorado so I buying am expensive bulb might be a bad idea.

Ushio makes bulbs. They are a lighting company that designs and builds many millions of bulbs. So is GE or Sylvania or Philips. Advanced nutrients is a hydro company catering to cannabis market. They contract with a lighting company to buy bulbs and have them badged with BaddAss logo and box. They then sell these cheap bulbs to you with a big fat markup! BaddAss or half ass?

Lol asking about bulbs in the LED section...
Made the most sense there isn't a hid light section. Only cfl/fluorescent, led and other lighting, and stealth, micro grow. So.....

Thought I could've sworn there was a section for these somewhere but.....idk maybe not. Guess they figured these kind of bulbs doesnt need a whole section. Which I agree with.

Yeah........should've thought of that. Kind of obvious now that you say it. Ahh well let's see how this mh bulb works. If it sucks I'll just pop the hps in. But it's gotten pretty good reviews on Amazon.

Yeah I want to go led pretty badly. Less power and heat with better results. Imma save that for Colorado too tho. I might get some of the cheaper bulbs for supplement lighting during flower tho. Or a cheap panel, like around $150. Imma have 10-13 plants going under a 600 watt (5 are regs so I expect a up to 3 males. Honestly 3 males would be perfect. Cut down on plants) and 10 of em are sativas. So I think I'm going to need supplemental lighting.

With LEDs, stick with products mentioned positively on this forum. If money is a factor, start small with 100 or 200 watts but buy quality. Uninformed people waste tons of money on piss poor lights. Most show up here after they already have bought junk. Better to inform yourself here first!

Yes go with cree cxb cobs or vero29...white cob!!!...no super spectrum or ultimate spectrum (marvel and dc already use it...)
No multicolored diodes...there is a few good brand but with crazy prices!
Look around here...not so far↑↑↑...lol
And you could have a led light at your avatar name (Johnson growlight...lol!)

Tasty has a single Cree cob light and a51 soon will, good way to try it out for about $200. You can own a quality light for what a 1/2 costs! It will pay you back.
