So yeah....NY Piff is a specific strain also called NY Haze(not purple haze).

It has a specific look and definitely the taste is what makes it Piff imo. It tastes like musty basement a little, no other bud taste like Piff. I did get something similar Gorilla Glue #1 taste a little like it. I'm sure there are other strains out there. The flower is a little darker, light and fluffy, sometimes flat, and red hairs.

I'm from Central NJ and used to get Piff straight from the Bronx(From your plugs plug). It has always been a NY thing. But NJ, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania was definitely hip to it, but it was coming from NY.

The strain was locked down for years since like 2008 or 2009, I couldn't get it anymore. Now alot of plugs have said they got "Piff" But I'm pretty sure it wasn't. They saying Piff as it's good bud, but again Piff got a specific taste.

I recently found out it's back around and found a gift delivery service in NJ that supposedly had it. I joked with the guy saying he was bullshittin. But Sure enough...I got another Piff plug!!! 100% Piff!!!

piff is cuban black haze and took over the tristate along with ecsd for a decade. Strongest Haze you will ever smoke. Now people are too lazy to grow these 12 week strains...
