Urgent help needed!!!!!!!

Hey guys!!
I am a first time grower, doing a hydro using aerogarden supposed to upgrade to wilma today, but the incident just blew me off! 600 watt bulb 100mm tt fan and carbon filter. 5 week old autoflowering bluematic.

I think my baby died overnight, it looked so green and full of life before I fell asleep, now the upper leaves turned yellow and crispy they are curling up a bit and they don't smell as nice :(

Please help

Ill leave you with the pics from before and now :(

How far away is the light from the plant? What are the temps in the Tent? My first guess would be, they got cooked! Are you ventilating the hood air out? Do you have proper air exchange?

the lights were about 45 cm away, the temp is around 28 degrees when lights on, and I do have a ventilating system.

I did put a couple of drops of ph down before I went to sleep! can that be the case? if so what should I do?? I changed the water in the res this morning when I saw the plant so I cant say what the ph was, whats the next step? and should I cut off the top leaves? if not will they recover??

Thanks so much in advance

yeah the ph probably dropped big time for that effect over night. restore ph to 5.8 and see how it goes, dont chop anything if there is still any green on it.

maybe a week to be healthy again... but the damaged leaves will always be damaged, new growth will continue though hope all improves for you

I've seen that in my room when my exhaust failed it looks like heat stress. Which in return can cause the plant to start locking out and then ur like noooooo what happened. A good rule of thumb to go by is what I call the were all connected theory if you can stick your hand under the light and feel discomfort keeping in mind that if hours were to go by how would it feel then? You can get a good handle on what is good for garden and what might hurt the garden. Just as plants need a proper environment ie food nutrition ect we do to so if you feel discomfort more than likely plant does too. Same with motabilism. If we as humans don't eat right we become deficient in certain ares which usually causes discomfort in us. Same for the plant too much or two little of something can cause this same reaction in your garden. Also it's kind of hard to tell from pic cuz plant is pretty hurt but when leaves curl upwards like in pics it usually signifies a mag deficency they call it praying for magnesium. I'd say check temps and like it says in above writings do a flush at proper ph and now I see that it's hydro make sure if temps are the prob that the res water isn't reaching a red line temp as well. Chalk it up to experience points on your end. This is what gardening indoors is all about it's like a puzzle and you just found out where a price doesn't fit. Just pick it back up and find where the pieces go. Also spiral outward!

So here is what I've done,
I moved them to a wilma because their roots got too big for the aerogarden, lowered the temp to 28 Celsius, ec 1.2, ph 6
But they still look the same if not slightly worse :(
Please help!

Unless its a nice size fan blowing over that plant then its gonna get fried,my light is approximately 2-4 inches away from my plants but the ones closest have constant air flow over them so no burns.

I hope so crazy, ill keep you updated and lower my ec, how important is an extra fan though? And how far should the light be?

well air movement is always good. for the light put your hand over your plant tops and if it feels hot you should move the light up

The leaves resemble PH fluctuation but in 12 hours only it's definitely heat and bleaching.I hope you haven't been spraying? but anyway i have a tower fan for my plants but you can find something smaller if you need to,any house fan will work. It's good to have an exhaust fan but its important to have new also, your light should be 18-36 inches away depending on heat emitted, when i grew in a closet some nights hit 100+ and i had the same problem and many others cause of no intake of cooler air even with lights pretty far,now i grow in my den and i can put them 1 inch away with a fan blowing since it's a open room.If it's too hot for you it's too hot for them, try standing in 80-100 degree weather under the sun with no wind blowing ;-)

This sucks but it doesn't blow lol
