Hi guys, Quick Update here.

The big plant has been flowering now for 48days.
The small plant was grown 12/12 from seed and is now 48 days old.

Both plants were grown under 4 - 42watt (150 equiv) CFL's

The big plant took over 2 weeks just to show sex. Not sure if that's because I don't have enough light for them or just because its a slower flowering strain.

I am no expert but the one on the right has several weeks (4-6 maybe). It appears to be a sativa and some of those sats can take forever! From my experience, if you let the sativas get "ripe" there ain't a better smoke around. I currently have a sativa thats been flowering for 72 days and I would say she has 3-4 weeks left. I can't freakin wait!

This is just my opinion so take it with a grain salt. Maybe someone else will chime in...Good luck! :peace:

sup RB?! the best way to tell if your ladies are done is by getting a microscope. 30x or 100x . Radioshack carries small micros. Some people like to harvest when the trichomes are an amber color and some like to harvest when the trichs become a milky transparent color. i like mine milky with a few amber "light" amber trichs, but thats just me. holla! :peace:

Looking good.. I would keep going and check trichs (crystals) sorry if you know already... cloudy (head stone) - amber (body)... I really would replace that foil with mylar or paint flat white.... foil can burn in spots.. Luck
have a rep+

4-6 more weeks?
wow, long flowering period, I was hoping 45-60 days total flowering time.

I am basing it on the fact those appear to be sativas and the buds have alot of filling out. I grow alot of sativas and they are just very slow compared to indicas. As others have suggested, get a scope and clip off a leaf and look at the trichs. That is really the only way to tell. Just be patient and watchthose trichs. Good luck.:peace:

Nice plants!!

U got a few more weeks to go yet bro and i would say get rid of the tin foil but seeing u r growing under cfl's that dont get to hot (u can prob touch the bulbs) i wouldnt worry to much.

No problem with the tin foil at all. Has anyone used foil with CFL's because there is no problem at all with hot spots.

And yes I can touch the bulbs they get warm but not Hot.

I think the small 12/12 from seed plant will be ready to harvest before the large plant. so atleast I will have that to hold me over untill the big one is finished flowering.

Hopefully only another week or 2 for the small one.
