A friend of mine is growing outdoor in the uk in compost pots. Im awae that the redening of the stalks is due to cold weather but so leaves are going yellow and dying/brown and curling up. Any help is appreciated!
Your friend needs to learn to read his plants better. He should have been feeding them a lot earlier. If he is already getting cold damage before buds have begun to stack up, it is probably a lost cause unless he finds a way to keep them warmer at night.
