Unknown Sativa strain - lemony odor, resinous and clear head high

Unknown sativa strain. Grown from a random seed gifted me by an old dealer.

Germinated 07/06/11 - Vegged under 4 26w CFL's - 08/30 flowered under a 400w HPS - grew to a height of nearly six feet in the small room I have - harvested 11/01.

This strain has a lemony scent, and it's resinous. It had no noticeable odor in flower unless you handled it - but for me that's ideal!

When smoked it gives me a clear head high, where I don't mind cleaning a bit lol, and I feel a calm euphoria. Very pungent odor when smoked!

Sparse, airy flowers, though I'm sure I harvested her at least a few weeks early.

I've got a clone soon to be undergoing some LST with TLC, and we'll see how she turns out.

if it's resinous, it sounds like an hybrid like a lemon haze or amnesia lemon. that would also explain the pungent taste maybe. the only lemony IBLs i know of are burmese & malawi gold, but both of those are trippy. if it WAS one of those, i'd bet it was burmese as that one has a mellower buzz and is very similar sounding to lemon phenos of apollo 11 & hawaiian sativa. how big did it get? i don't know though. the pics i remember of the last 3 strains all had broader leaves & looked more "indica" than what you have.

generally, any time you get stinky plants, it's from indicas bred into them, but there could be skunkier sativas. odor profiles don't get talked about enough. if you mentioned a "menthol" flavor, i'd say it sounds like hawaiian.

if you like it though, that's the only thing that matters whether it's named or not.

i'm inclined to think it's a lemon haze as those tend to be a little more clear headed than trippier gear based on the 2 hazes i've tried so far. maybe someone with more experience with lemony strains can add more info.

really, a lot of sativa dominant strains are lemony. that's one of the reasons i'm eager to try jack's cleaner 2, but that one is trippy too. keep growing for quality. there are many out there who wish that had smoke like you do and many who never have tried anything like it to even know it exists.
