yes the front of the cloest is the only spot for me to get fresh air inside the closet... i made my own door that has breathable fabric around the edges ...is this a problem?
Not a problem. I've just noticed that certain strains I've grown will get purple-ish on the plants closest to where cold air comes in while the rest remain green.

Since your rockin the earth juice. (great choice) I would recommend doing a bacterial based tea and apply that so that you can get some microbes to mineralize the organic feed for you. Simple. Put some worm castings in a sock or panty hose. Add a little compost or good garden soil and aerate with airstones in a bucket for 24 hours with molasses to breed billions of bacteria.

The spots you are seeing may just be the strain. Maybe throw them a little extra calcium to help with the hooking tips of your fan leaves but other then that they look really good and healthy.

thank you for the reply that sounds very interesting. quick question though... I always assumed organic soil and such already has beneficial bcteria and microbes? or am i mistaken? second... the leaf tips have been hooking on some leaves since it was a baby but not on others... ive always wondered what might be the problem but it didnt seem to efffect the plant too much so i never bothered making a thread about it... is it safe to say this is from lack of calcium? if so what can i use to add more calcium to the soil? because i dont think the earth juice microblast contains calcium.. atleast not as far as i can tell. Here are the ingredients in the Microblast Magnesium 0.50%; Boron 0.02%; Cobalt 0.0005%; Iron 0.10%; Manganese 0.05%; Molybdenum 0.0005%; and Zinc 0.05% in an organic base. Ingredients: Kelp meal, magnesium sulfate, borax, cobalt sulfate, ferrous
sulfate, manganese sulfate, sodium molybdate and zinc sulfate. so what could i use to add some calcium?.. is a lack of calcium also why the leaf veins have turned red?

btw the plants are looking not to good today... the purple is really coming through to the top of the leaves now and the leaves are now starting to look very blotchy green(top side of leaves) and leaf veins are very very red i will grab some new pics give me a few minutes

heres some updated pics btw looks a bit worse than the last couple days... also a couple pictures of what i think to be seed production please give me your input as i have never seen a seed starting to grow on a bud before...and im pretty sure i accidentally released pollen when i was removing some nanners from my hermie. and if someone could give me some info on how to add calcium to the soil please let me know the nutes i have apparantly dont have calcium

tell me does the following pic look like beginning seed production??

april11th (3).jpg

april11th (4).jpgapril11th (5).jpgapril11th (6).jpg

Another picture of what i believe to be seed production if anyone can confirm or deny??
april11th (7).jpg

See how this cola bud still has white pistils and is pointy and still growing vertically? the other plant has flattened out at top, hairs have receeded and i believe seed production has taken place :(
april11th (8).jpgapril11th (9).jpgapril11th (10).jpg

Another possible pollination which is the top cola but on the taller of the two plants...
april11th (11).jpg

Notice how the top of the plant(cola bud) have flattened out? not pointy like most colas i think thats cause it was pollinated :(
april11th (12).jpg

and here is my topped/lst'd 12/12 from seed(i think Sativa dominant if someone can correct me if im wrong i would appreciated it... figured i would throw some pics up) thsi thing is flowering slow... it showed pre-flowers at the same time as the top two plants... so it is right about at 5 weeks flower... just started seeing trichome production 2 days ago.... im assuming atleast 10weeks or more for this plant... opinions? getting an aweful lot of leaf yellowing going almost white then dying.... im assuming nitrogen deficient... can i add like a tablespoon of grow to my feedings to maybe help darken her up???

and with that said... It's time for me to Toke up the last joint i have from the plant i recently chopped down(first plant EVER BTW) pretty damn good smoke considering it was my first plant and i cut it down early cause it hermied.. and it was traumatized a lot during its seedling stage lol... pretty damn good smoke. very smooth very tasty ... high was decent last about 45 minutes or so.. would have been better if i didnt chop it early... which now i regret since it pollinated the other plants ANWAYS lol oh well you live and learn... cant wait to smoke these plants cause they look WAY better

You could try using proper pots. It looks like your using thin plastic bag thingies. I wonder how the roots are behaving once they hit the plastic. Maybe they would sweat? or something. would the lights not heat them up excessively. would they cool down excessively at night. would this differential be good for the plant.

just a thought.

My water source has no hardness at all so I also require added calcium. Lately I have been using CAMG by General Organics. It is good stuff. Calcium carbonate and also magnesium in carbon form.

Yes soil has bacteria but if you want to boost your soil food web and grow monster plants then additions innoculations are required. I feed bacterial every week and fungal every 1-2 weeks during flower to boost phosphorus solubulizing fungi. (making food available) Your plants are well into flower and would benefit a lot from either type of tea.

Let me know if you have any questions.

i receieved these pots from someone that grows with them quite sucessfully. so i highly doubt its the pots... they are disposable pots made for growing plants..so meh

@ Dank Raptor.. thanks for the info could explain the process of making these teas? i know you kind of did in the first post but i was wondering if their are any more details you could give cause i didnt understand the entire process thanks man..

@ apollo.. which plant are you saying is N dificient? the big light green lst'd girl? if so she has looked pale green almost her entire life.. no matter how much nitrogen i throw at her she does not darken up...so im at a loss on that one

I have a plant I’m currently growing and the underside of leaves are really purple while the tops are totally green. Started noticing it at beginning of veg. Now it’s 4 weeks into flower and looks awesome.

pics of some foliage. Same leaves.Pics in sun and shade.
