Underage Medical Marijuana

Lets say you were under the age of 18 and wanted to Convince your Mom/Dad/Legal Guardian that you NEED Medical Marijuana but they just think you smoke to be high. So how would you convince them to let you? What would you say?

Lets say you don't have any severe diseases either.

So Symptoms can be Depression/Insomnia/No Appetite/Pains/Headaches ect.

So what would you say?

You should go somewhere that allows children - this is not the place.

lets say it sounds like a minor just wants to get high.

His attitude is one of the reasons medical marijuana gets scoffed at.

I never said once that this thread was about me. I asked simple general questions. This is 100% not for me, it is for a cousin whos mom is a real hard ass if you know what i mean, but he suffers from Severe Depression and Insomnia. He looks like crap all the time and he really wants to ask his parents.

I am really worried for him. He seriously has the droopiest darkest eyes ive ever seen. And watching some TV show on Discovery about how Insomnia kill people every year did not help me stop worrying about him..


You guys just assumed this was about me.. thats very unfair.

Can i please be unbanned? Seeing how this was a wrongful ban..

Eh i guess ima have to be more specific when i say his moms a hard ass.
He has NO video games whatsoever. When he comes over to my house i let him play non stop just cause its what you should do as a kid.

He doesn't know why he can't sleep. He just says he toss and turns all night. I told him to try a new bed but he says it happens everywhere.
His mom yells at him for everything. literally. Shes even yelled at me when ive gone over. Shes nuts.


Seriously though. i want serious answers on how he can bring it up to them or convince them that he needs it. His dad might be a little more understanding seeing how he used to smoke.

its a joke that marijuana isnt legal for everyone. nobody should have to get a doctors recommendation to smoke weed. thats the shit that happens when you outlaw something that everybody does. dont hate on people trying to get cards for no reason. they want pot too and for now thats how to do it somewhat legally.

He doesn't have access to weed that easily. And why be illegal when you can just be legal and not have ANYTHING to worry about? His mom is a hard ass thats why he wants to convince his parents so they will stop punishing him for him doing nothing wrong.
If he gets MMJ then his parents will pay for it because a doctor recommended it.
Look i dont need to sit here typing out every detail on his life just so you get the entire picture all im asking is for someone to answer my questions. Nothing else.

I always thought even with a doctors rec, you have to be over 18. If thats the case obviously its not a do-able thing. I'd suggest someone who knows about his problem gets a rec and helps him a little.
Otherwise I can't think of much you can do.
Its up to you as no one here knows the kid or you on a personal level here, so what you're asking is kind of out of our league. Its like asking a magic 8 ball, you get an answer but not always the one you want.

You can get a MMJ Card under the age of 18 with parent consent.

Im asking how he can get them to consent.
Im asking for some guidelines for him for things to say to his parents to help convince them. Some ways to maybe ignite the conversation?

Nothing about him matters when i stated ALL of the questions in what would YOU do form.

weed beats taking pills... parents can be hard sells on the weed issue they would rather see their kid on speed(adderall). some never will accept it and those that do accept it, do.

dont get me wrong i love smoking weed but when im sick i cant burn and adderall only works like speed if you dont have adhd

johnney i dont know why his parents would ever think about letting him smoke weed when there such hard asses thats why i recommended pills. i use marijuana to help me sleep also but i havent been able to burn the last few nights because im sick an smoking makes it worse
