Are you drunk UB? Lol
I was drunk .

Boy was i drunk last night , i have no idea how much i drank but it was alot , i got my wifes helper dog hammered with me & he ended up blowing chunks near the back door , fukin lightweight bulldog .

In his defense he was keeping up with me drinking vodka & orange juice for the 1st bottle , when it ran out we experimented with other booze in the cuppboard & thats when shit went downhill fast :)

I haven't had a bmx since 15 years old buddy I do own a Harley Fatboy though had a Kawasaki Vulcan when I was 23 and a car maybe a truck not sure though it's been a while since I was a kid. :bigjoint:
I had an iron head sporty when i was a kid & still have it too .
What yr FLSTF do you have ? My wife has a 93 evo i had lowered for her & used a 92 soft tail saddle & back rest to replace her factory seat with , its more comfortable than my Road King just not as quick being its carb vs injection , she has a lil buell too but hasnt been able to ride them in a few yrs , ive been riding her scooter more than my Panhead , im getting too old to be kicking bikes to start them so the shovelhead has been sitting for a while until i gave it to my son, the Road King is like riding a brick compared to her fatboy so ive been taking it out this yr & gave the Road King to our other son .

Her Fatboy is the most comfortable american bike we ever owned .

Flip flops on a bike is retarded. I seen what happens when a person looses control of a bike and sticks their foot down with flip flops. Its not pretty.

Im guilty of flip flops on my bikes that have floor boards but i dont dress like a fake k mart biker when i ride either .

On my Panhead its usually sandals with short socks , knee high shorts & colorfull button up Hawaiian type tourist shirts , the don ho type .

I look more like a tattooed surfer puttin down the road than a biker , oh & i dont do that stupid hand wave at other HD riders either , its about as faggy as streamers off the grips & tassels on saddlebags , the fringed leathers make me laugh the most .

When i ride the Buell Lightning i wear nasty feet boots & chaps along with a helmet but the other scooters i look like an old dork & i dont care how cool i look, its about comfort .

I allways laugh at the fake toughys wearing all black fringy shit with an ebay harley shirt ,lookin like wyatt fukin earp while they polish chrome at every stop light , dicks .

Mexicans are dedicated to everything they do man! When was the last time you met a white kid named Jesus!
If said it before & i dont give a damm if it makes me a bigot , when i was running work all i cared about was production , saftey & quality in work , i prefered to use all legal Mexicans vs whites & blacks , white & black journeymen get pissed when you tell em they have to work saturday for overtime , Mexicans say thank you & can we please work sunday too .

The president of mexico made a speech that really hit home with me when he said mexico isnt happy about loosing workers because the ones who make a life here are the best & the brightest & i know that to be true , 90% of american born people who worked for me were allways worried about getting out of work in 8 or less , not working in the rain , not working weekends & collecting as much unemployment as possible .

The mexicans i had the privledge of working with were just like me , they wanted overtime & wanted to work yr round , all of them had large savings accounts & owned multiple homes which means they pay more taxes & help the community , the whites lived on credit cards , refused bad weather work , hated weekend work at $60 an hour for sunday , had shit for savings & most lost their homes in 2007 when the market crashed , white lifestyle bad for the US economy .

If im a racist for loving to work with mexicans so be it , when my wifes illness started eating her alive all our white friends stopped comming over because were all in our mid 60's & her illness reminds them of their own mortality , they call & send cards but dont come by as friends .

The only friends my wife & i have left is a Mexican couple , the Man was my ex assistant superintendent & my best friend , his wife is my wifes best friend & we hang out as friends, not like the whites who take pity on the sick girl .

So if anybody wants to call me a racist because i prefer mexicans over whites due to them being stand up mother fucking men then so be it , when my family needs a friend the only ones we can count on are mexico born Mexicans .

Now that jr is running his own crew he will soon find out who the best workers are , who the safest workers are & who has the best work ethic & its not american born people , i think the apology he gave is based on his new found wisdom since going from doing punch lists to running a crew , thats why i hold out hope for this kid , he's young & repeating shit he heard slugs say , now that he's working with Mexicans hand in hand he's seeing how great they are at everything they do & they care about the company & people they work with / for , the americans just want to know when quitting time is .

Your starting to see why big punch lists are left for repair crews &.the main crews need to get to the next job asap & its not the mexicans fault , its the nature of high volume roofing , am i correct @gunnar&cary. ?

How did lowering the bike help her? My dad wants to give me his '93 Soft Tail Custom but I've always struggled with that bike but have no problem with his Peace Office Electra Glide which ways 200lbs more. He says it's because it sits lower than the Soft-Tail.

Sadly this is true. When my father was diagnosed w/ MS, not a "friend" was to be found. You nailed it. PPL don't want to face their own mortality. A serious illness brings out the best and WORST in people. The ones that were supportive and were with him until the end were his caregivers, one of which turned out to be a friend long after he quit being a caregiver. He hung around our family as a good friend to my dad.

He's right ,the lower they sit the easier they are to control & weight becoms irrelevant .

Look at how much leg extension i have on my wifes lowered Fatboy , bike is dead level & ive got complete control with one leg it sits so low .
upload_2015-5-20_14-51-36.jpeg

Its an old pic of me & my grandson on his 1st lil bike , check out my right leg where if i put it on the ground my knee would be bent as if sitting in a chair , that gives you control of weight .

Lowering the bike put her flat footed with both feet without full extension of her legs , when you lower them to the point your knees are bent while seated it gives the rider maximun control of the bike at problem areas like take offs & stops , the more knee bend the more control of weight .

Lowering your dads softail would be the same as lowering my wifes fatboy since they use the same swing arm & the mods are invisable cause they are under the bike .

Underneath the bike there are monoshocks between the swing arm & frame ,ya just take them off & put the lowering kit on with smaller travel shocks , it would lower the softaiil 4 inches , if you put a saddle seat on the bike vs a plush seat you lower another 3 inches , thats 7 inches total , it puts your crotch even with the top of the rear jug , look at your pops bike & imagine your crotch as low as the rear jug & you'll see how low it can be taken .

What a nice post , im sure your dad knew how much you guys loved him but it is fucked how friends dissapear , they all act like their gonna live forever & it hurts feelings , it hurt my wifes feelings badly , im glad your dad had a friend , were thankfull for the 2 friends we have that still come to our home to hang out as friends .

My wife had her 8th surgery at 530 am this morning & the whole family is here along with all the grand kids , only our mexican couple friends bothered to come , nobody else showed up , fuck em !

Your right about disease bringing out the worst in people , when she lost the ability to drive most her friends called wanting to know if they could buy the Jaguar i gave her for our 35th anniversary, one friend even asked me why i didnt get her a nurse instead of me ( Having to care for her all the time ) that one shocked me & all i could think was WoW ! is that how he'd treat his wife

I retired to be with my wife & spend as much time as possible with her , not palm her off in some home or with strangers , all she needs is a little help doing certian things through the day , people dont see what she can do all they remember is what she cant do , i used to be bitter over it now im just numb to it & try to figure out what makes people tick .

Wow.

Your wife is very fortunate to have such an attentive and loving husband. I only hope when I grow old my husband will be as great as you!
