Uncertain Plant Problems

hi All

have some issues woth Lowryder 2 grow:

Basic Info:

Soil Mix 75/25 Soil Perlite
Nuts: 1/2 to 1/4 strength Bio Canna Vega/Flores Bloom fed every 3rd watering
Bio Bloom added every watering now (4ml per L)
Lighting 2 x 125w blue cfl 1 x 200w red cfl
20/4 lighting schedule
temps 85 day 75 night
1 dose of epsom salts first week of flowering (may need more at this time?)
run off measured at 6.8
Never flushed (due to low nutrient programme this grow)

Fed twice in a row with 3/4 strenght bio flores last week and have seen no improvement in lower plant, though these fan leaves may never recover?

Do I add some epsom salts in next clean watering? Foliar feed or flush?

Lower leaves now turning yellow quickly, the plants seem healthy but trich development on these seems slow compared with previous grows, possibly due to reduced feed (used full strenght on last grows bust suffered from burn) and have read up on EC so reduced feed during this one.

Pot/bucket size is i know small and should be using at least 6.5L containers which I will do no next cycle, starting next week.

You will see from above picture that the trich development is late, and I am concerned as to the strength of such. Seems the plants have some 3-4 weeks possibly to go? Not sticky or smelly at this time - some worry there also. Had some good results in the past, this one seems late (not unusual for cfl grow to take longer in my experience)

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is imperitive this grow goes right, have a hungry appetite that is unfilfilled at present.

when should I add PK 14/15? now seems about the right time from the look of them?

cheers.

I agree- should have a bit more trichome developement. It just looks hungry to me. Those bottom leaves are on their way out, increase nutrients somewhat and hope for the best.

Thanks rocknratm,

will feed full strenth bio flores tomorrow with some bloom and see if they perk up a bit, what do you think re any mg deficiency?

More nutes definitely I'd say phosphorous def starting possibly some potas and nitrogen but looks to me as a phosphorous deff does she have red leaf stems ? And do any of the other leaf tips have any sort of discoloration toward the tips but not fully at the leAf fringe also a good sign of phosphrous deff I would give her a 1/4 strength dose of equal npk nutes added with ur normal feeding regimen to boost nitrogen phosph and potas and still keep up on the phosphorous with the Flores then the next feed after that add the extras jus 2 cents from someone learning how

When flowering the plant can consume a lot of nutrients and turn them to flower density, I agree with feeding more. The fan leaves dying out like that during flowering is Nitrogen deficiency, very common though as the plant is focusing all is energy on cola development. Also suggested waste of nutes to feed excess Nitrogen to flowering cannabis because it will just give you more foliage, which is less cola development. Nice lil buds though! Congrats! I suggest feed for 2 more weeks then flush for 2 weeks, I prefer the 2 week flush, As the plant will look for and use up every bit of nutrients/energy it can find before harvest, either in the soil, or stored inside the plant.. starving it and energy going to last and least stressful production... Trichrome development. I always usually keep in 48hours before harvest aswell to aid trich development, Never harvest during the day or light cycle. In the last 2 weeks is when the buds fill out and produce 20% of its density and trichs. As for the trichs you say are non existent... That is because its a ruderalis.

agree with the rudderals quote but this is my 5th grow of lowryder so expect more, as you say they look hungry i can only put this down to either my feeding schedule or breeding.

Will add full flores nuts tomorrow and then PK 14/15 2 days after

thanks for your help
