comments are welcomed... do you guys think i have enough lighting in the box?

oh yeah, you have enough light, that box is phenomenal, but if i could give you a suggestion, you should have all the lights facing down over the plants instead of facing up and try to position each plant just so that you can maneuver them around comfortably as they grow, your set-up is damn near perfect, but it looks a little uncomfortable for YOU,when it comes time to do the essentials(i.e water, flush) but i could be wrong tho.....good luck on your grow bro,and im definitely gon keep an eye on this one....peace and smoke on

looks fine i have to agree about flipping the lights.
also it looks like you either have a watering or pH problem
i thought i saw what looked like a bit of neut burn,
you might want to flush your soil with pH 6.5 spring water and let the soil dry out :D
good luck on the grow will be followin,
happy tokin

thank you very much guys! you guys are right, it is a bit tight in there with all the lights. i take out each plant for watering/feeding/inspection just to be safe. other than that i have no problem rotating the plants. my 2 plants with the burns were under my buddy's care for sometime... 1 one of them was in shock due to a bad transplant (the short and bushy one), im not too sure about the other one.

As for flipping the lights down. i had that setup before but i wanted to evenly distribute the lights in the entire grow box. Vertical growth was also limited due to the fact that the bulbs were taking more space uptop than down low. i have a nice 2FT 4x T5 fixture mounted to the lid. so there is lighting from all around. The lights from the bottom will also reflect off from the fixture since everything is compact.

Smoke on guys, more comments is very much appreciated :bigjoint:

nice set up man, i just dont understand why i see all these container grow boxes..... im confused. Do you skip vegging and go straght to flowering for the whole sequence? The plants cant get tall or have root room in such a small space, is this just a starting box? and if this is your whole box for the whole time. how much would you yield from 5 miniature plants.

im going to use this box for vegging/flowering for the first batch to hone my skills and to buy me sometime so i can expand to MH/HPS. after that the box is going to be my vegging chamber for clones and seedlings. bongsmilie

**update!!!

interesting... i removed all the bottom lights and left the 4x 24w t5 fixture. the plants seem to like it better as they bounced back up with nicer leaves and grew a few centimeters.. hmm.. oh well i saved alot of money when i returned all the stuff after using them for a month . i am going to order my 400w mh/hps setup real soon

i also gave my biggest plant to my friend to flower under his 400w hps :bigjoint:

thanks for the line bro! i dont really believe so. i am going to reverse my ventilation when flowering comes by using my 2 PC fans as intake and the vortex as the exhaust. It will exhaust through a carbon scrubber and out to the window. so hopefully smell will be diminished or kept at a minimum. i plan on installing a carbon filter in my grow room also to help achieve that. ill get pictures for you guys soon as i am actually in the middle of moving to my new apartment!

fatty grows coming up soon :bigjoint:

Nice grow box, I can tell you've put a fair bit of work into it.
You're even doing some of the more advanced things, that I don't even use yet, like your exhaust, and carbon scrubber.
This being said there does seem to be a few issue with your box. Some will say this is impossible, but I think you almost have too much light, well too much heat being created by the lights I should say. And it seems your T5 are kinda far away from the plants.
First off, I would think 2 CFL's for each of those plants would be plenty, they are still so small, they shouldn't need 5 bulbs each!
If you have been having heat problems, which I'm assuming you may have been, from the amount of lights and you talking about adjusted your fan setup, that could be enough to thro off your nutrients, watering and everything else. If you aren't already, make sure you can maintain a constant temperature, even a little on the cool side I think is better, around 80o.

One way you could possibly setup your lights is, remove some of the CFLs and move all the plants so their tops are no more than 2 inches from your T5 system. I dont use a lot of T5's, but from what I understand they are a little better than the CFLs. I'm just suggesting this because your plants look like they are afraid to expand. And I can't blame them, there is burning hot lights completely everywhere around them. T5's are awesome for small plants, and they burn really cool, i would use them as your main light source, and do a bit of side lighting with the CFLs. This should cool you box, and give the plants much more airflow, I think your plants just might appreciate that.
Also consider using organic fertilizers, they're dummy proof as far as overfertilization, I know that's why i use them. Plus you get better weed, that's a plus.

I hope some of this helps. i also wanted ask you for some advice.
How well does that carbon scrubber actually work? i just can't picture weed smell going in one end, and fresh air coming out the other. Anybody who's also used a carbon scrubber, please let me know.

Also I was wondering about your exhaust, does the smelll get sucked out that window very well? In my place it would probably just get blown all back in. I'm just trying to reduce the smell in my room, and am basically wondering how well you're system is working.
thanks, peace.
