Hello Everyone,

I got 10 seeds from a friend, planted them and left for 40 days in 18/6
400 Watt HPS
Temp 65 - 80
Humidity 50 - 70

Then changed to 12/12
18 days now flowering
No Nutrient used at all since start.
Watering once per week.

Now I have a huge bushy tall plant but Uknown strain to me.

From the leaves it says Sativa, but who knows maybe not even Cannabis and I am waisting my time and it might be hemp seeds.

Under a 40x magnifier I see the small trichome but really small and not too much as I saw in my old Indica plant.

Can anyone help ? I just need info what is it that I have planted and why not too much trichome yet after 18 days flowring.

Well, for starters it is dominantly sativa, which means it could flower anywhere from 9-whatever weeks. There is no rushing this plant. I've seen phenos from a indica/sativa mix that have the same characteristcs as yours. I refer to it as the "witches broom", it grows straight up and any side branches are short and start budding @ the 2nd node. But believe me, when this plant finally reaches maturity ( which probably wont be in 2013 ) it's an absolutely beautiful sight to see. You might want to consider a small dosage of some bloom nutes since she has many, many more weeks to go.

BTW, that trichome production will ramp up in another month or so, have no fear, you have a healthy sativa on your hands and she will be well worth the wait.

Beautiful sativa.. Call it Heirloom IAMCENTER.. :weed:

What does it smell like?
Guys I forgot to add , This plant does NOT SMELL unless you rub your fingers on the main sterm, then it has a WOWWW smell.
But from rubbing your fingers on the leaves or getting close to it, it smells NOTHING.

I am just afraid to be waisting my time with a Hemp plant,

What do you say guys.

You mean it doesn't smell RIGHT NOW.....LOL, don't you fret none over the "no smell", she's gonna be smelling right purty around Christmas ( luckily you can mask the stench with Cinnamon...

Its that new strain called hell-f-iknow by bag seed special. Com on man, everything is just a guess because there are to many possibilities. If it is a hybrid it could be anything.

iamcenter......I dug around for a pic of a similar plant from the past......bingo, found it.....the day this photo was taken, this girl was 48 days into flower running 12/12 from seed ( total on this date of 72 days ). She flowered for a total of 107 days ( yep, that's right, 15 1/2 weeks ) and probably could have stood another week. In this photo she is 37" tall and on chop day had grown to well over 5' ( we didn't measure final height ). Trust me, you have beautiful sativas there. Look familiar?

BTW, she grew the entire time in a one gallon bucket....LMAO.....but grow she did !!!!!

That's a beautiful plant! You really should take some clones off of the unknown sativa, maybe make a cross of your own so you can give it a name. Or maybe just call it Unknown Sativa

I'm with the rest of these guys in saying it looks like its got some beautiful sativa in her, but I bet its not 100%. Maybe 60-40 or even 80-20 but it looks great. I'm also guessing that from the lvl of bud developement at 18 days that hopefully it won't take 100+ but with sativas you never know.

1. Its definitely Cannabis sativa. No question about that whatsoever.

2. Of the various cannabis sativa strains/cultivars, it looks like you have a plant that the drug growers would call a "sativa" (meaning it doesn't have many or any subcontinental genetics in it). The tall skinny growth, and long thin leaf "fingers" are the indicators there.

3. Hemp plants actually are "sativas", but I don't think what you have is a hemp plant. Based on resin production and somewhat short internodal length, it seems almost certain to me that you have a drug/medical cultivar. Beyond that, its impossible to say exactly which one just based on a few images. You could have a "landrace" (ie inbred outdoor grown line), or you could have a "haze" (commercial drug sativa hybrid).

4. Your best (and perhaps ONLY) chance of finding out exactly what you have is talking to your friend who gave you the se-eds and see where he got them from. If he tells you he pulled them out of his parrots birdseed container, you've got a problem!

Assuming he pulled them out of a bag of weed he liked, you're good to go. If you can find out where he got the bag in question, and what the buds looked/smelled like, that might help narrow it down. If he pulled them out of some relatively inexpensive seed-ed bud, you may have a Mexican commercial sativa there. . .that could be interesting.

5. Only way to know how good it is, is to let the thing finish flowering until maturity (as mentioned, that could conceivably take 4 full months), trim dry and cure it properly, then test it. I suspect it will be good, though.
