His outdoor actually turned out pretty good. I gave a couple people some and they had no complaints. I met this guy at work and he said he's been doing it for years and had friends that have been doing it for years. And I've had their stuff and its fire. So I'm just confused why he's making so many mistakes
Indoor growing is alot different to outdoors. YOU control everything!! Hes never had to worry about temp, humidity, light intensity, air flow, air exchange ph in coco etc. Every factor you dont have dialled in reduces yield and quality.

He's about to start his outdoor grow so I'm sure he doesnt care this first run doesnt succeed. The crazy thing is when I suggest stuff he doesnt feel he's doing anything wrong.

Like I said. I've seen it before. Denial is not a river in northeast Africa.

Five DE's? Oh my. Just shows that spending money doesn't guarantee a successful grow. That look s like coco and too dry. Lights are too high. Plants are starving. Pretty much anything you can do wrong your buddy has done. There's probably no helping him because he probably thinks he knows everything when the fact that he knows nothing about growing cannabis is staring him right in the face.

He might get an OZ out of that entire room. What a waste of money and time. If he's in a legal state tell him to sell his equipment on craigslist and buy his pot from a dispensary. I can't even look at that picture again. It's just too sad.

Nope he wanted 1000 for 2lbs but I lied and said I could only give 500.. so he said 1. I'm ok with that considering where I'm from prices are ridiculous compared to where I live now
For $500 you could have bought a 4 x 4 tent, 600 watt MH/HPS setup with sealed hood, carbon scrubber and 6" exhaust fan with money left over to buy some seeds. I can get close to a lb with that exact setup.

But hindsight isn't worth what you pay for it which is nothing. Best thing to do is move on after this mess is over. Going in on a grow with others rarely works out.

Good luck. bongsmilie

IF YOU go over and fix um yourself , you can get something out of that trash he started.
FIRST: gently pull them thangs out of the giants pots and plant um in something SMALL. add some perlite to that coco.
SECOND: water them everytime with a little bit of veg food....any kind. cal mag every 2 or 3 waterings
THIRD: watch them recover quick
Skip any of those steps and hes not going to get anywhere NEAR a quarter pound in the whole room.

I'll be converting my 3rd bay in my garage into a flower room starting from seed. Its 10x26x9 but the room will be 10x10x9. I'm gonna go with some DIY led lights. Bc of extreme heat in the summer with mini split.

You could probably just stick your hand into the coco to the side of the plant, scoop them up and drop them in one gallon containers fitting all of them under one light. I doubt they have any root structure at all. But that's not an option because the guy won't do it. His room, his grow. It's extremely difficult to get people to admit that they've made mistakes. Chances of the guy doing that are slim to none.

I've done one partnership grow in my life and that was years ago. I'll never do it again. Just last week I dropped off some starts for a friend that's growing with someone else. Five minutes after I was there they were already bickering over 18/6 or 24/7 light in veg, when to transplant into bigger pots, cutting off the fan leaves, nutrients, etc... I smoked a joint and got out of there. Got home, cracked a beer, took a bong hit, looked at my healthy plants, sat down, and felt relieved that I make all the decisions with my grow.

I wish it were that easy. I dont have access to the property like that or I definitely would.
