alright, so my first grow was going kinda ok. but it bombed, that's another story. im starting more prepared this time. so i have fox farm grow big, tiger bloom, and big bloom liquid nutrients to use during my grow.

Since i'm going to be adding nutrients to the soil, shouldn't i be getting a soil with no nutes in it? my last grow got a nasty nute burn that took out most of the leaves because i used miracle grow, and i know that stuff is way to strong.

So im trying to figure out what to use as the best growing medium for my plants. They are going to be under a 400 HPS.

I'm thinking like 6. So yea, i don't need to have the soil i get have any nutes in it. I just need to make sure it iznt too soggy and that it can get oxygen to the roots enough. I read that i should maybe be adding perlite to my soil?
