Two stupid questions from a Noob (photos in previous post)...

You can check out my photos in a previous post. I really appreciate a few of you seasoned growers taking the time to respond on this. More than you know!

My plants (four total) are about twelve inches and I am close to flowering them (based on size constraints). Can I go ahead and trip up the bottom of the plants? Meaning, can I cut off the bottom most branches so the plant can "focus up"? Or should I wait to do this? I'm not going to do any fancy stuff on this first grow, but I figure I should probably prune the lower branches.

Secondly, as I water, over time, dirt erodes out of the bottom of the pot. Can I add dirt periodically or should I just not worry about it since there is still quite a lot of dirt? I don't want to lose too much dirt over time.

you can snip the first nodes of the plants to focus on the top in veg and early in flower

its best to do this in veg and the term can be called lollipopping.

if you look up raidermans grows he does this in the early stages of flower with great success

and dirt eroding is natural when watering, but if it is huge clumps then you may need to find some better soil.

Both of you are morons, FWIW. You don't need the pics to answer the questions. I was simply pointing out that I did post pics if you wanted to look and they're quite easy to find.

Both of you should get a life, honestly. The only problem with this forum is far too many douche bags. You two are good examples.

with my first grow i also had 4 plants, i did the sea of green method and it worked super well, just tie over the main stem and let it grow to the side, gives you more colas on top and you will keep the plants lower / veg longer if you have space issues

Whatever. A plant 12 inches tall can have 3 nodes or 20 nodes. That has alot to do with answering your question. You obviously do not have a clue. Enjoy your upcoming failure.:hug:

Why even take the time to post this stupid shit? he's right you are a dousch bag. The question can most definitely be answered without pics. It is a good idea to trim the BOTTOM THIRD of the plant (notice it doesn't matter how many nodes when you use a fraction) this increases upward growth of the most exposed branches to light and increases airflow around the plants. so a message to this cowboy guy and any other dicks out there. DON'T POST IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HELP! there, I hope that helps ; )

Plants look great by the way! It only took me about 10 seconds to find them in your other post.
