Two seized BC shipments

Well this was certainly an interesting tidbit.
It appears that Tweed and Mettrum both had shipments seized by the RCMP in BC bound for Ontario.
These two LPs bought uh...starting materials aka week 8 in clearing plants from DPPLs.
I don't know why the RCMP seized the shipments.
I don't know if they were fully mature plants, or buds. If it was buds, that would explain the siezure.
More info would be nice to hear.
It's so fortunate that these two LPs were able to find growers under the MMAR who held the same high quality standards that are demanded under the MMPR program.

i believe it was actually tweed not pnp that had a shipment seized along with mettrum, although i may be wrong. I hope this does not effect my order with mettrum lol!

yup tweed, don't know what they lost, prob clones, they stated they have 25 strains and just ordered 55 more strains from b.c

PNP recently bought some uh...starting material from Medcann Access in Ontario, guess the RCMP or OPP missed that one. Again same congrats goes out to PNP for finding growers with the same high quality growing standards that are demanded under the MMPR regime.

I believe the ceo from Mettrum was at the airport when it went down....unconfirmed.
Why would he be there for a shipment of clones?

The hypocrisy continues.

Homegrown=unsafe, mold infested, fire hazard, devil weed!
LP Produced=safe, medical grade, industry standard, only the best!...not to mention taxable
Homegrown sold through LP=magically safe!

Strange the cops are keeping their mouths shut so far. Usually means an investigation is going on and they can't talk one way or another until charges are filed.

This is absolute horse shit. So health Canada argues that LP can produce and grow yet here are two major players buying product essentially off the street. Sorry guess proper due diligence wasn't done by health Canada. Appeal is officially up in smoke.

It's ok for them to buy homegrown/MMAR cannabis because they can re-sell it at a mark up and Harper gets that precious tax revenue. Can't let sick poor people grow their own though, thats a threat to "public safety". The whole MMPR and HC are becoming more of a joke everyday, the blatant hypocrisy of those in power leaves my brain rattled. Also I came across this little piece from Dana Larsen.

I have it on good authority that the mettrum shipment at least was purchased from MMAR growers who also happen to be part of a certain "motorcycle club". These are apparently the same ppl who contacted cannimed and offered them 3000lbs (as per the globe and mail interview with cannimed).
I'm sure the RCMP was interested in these motorcycle enthusiasts before mettrum and tweed purchased from them

No prob. Information should be shared freely..it also speaks to the morals of companies like tweed and mettrum. Their dollars are going to support the very black market that they are licensed to stop lol

A post on another site is stating one shipment was 1,000 lbs, and the other was 1,200 lbs.
That's a lot of starting materials !!!

Un-fucking-believeable! And if they hadn't been busted ( have they??) who would be any the wiser when placing your next order! Makes me sick to my stromach.

Well if you seen the shit PPS produced under the MMAR and the shit CanniMed produces now it's not surprising. They think that is "medicine" too.

I have been maintaining all along that money decisions that Lp's make....leave you at the mercy of the money....
and in no way make for better medicine.....
This is actually really good news to think....MMAR meds that we have been told are not fit for use....in comparison to MMPR meds that are...(rotfl)
and those who will be supplying said buds and strains as MMPR licencee's(The bigger player's) have just indicated whether they like it or not
that,all the propaganda that HC used to try and prove quality issues existed where none actually did...(in most cases)
has been trumped up info...for the sole purpose of discrediting MMAR growers...
I think maybe the average public....can now see what hypocrisy MMAR growers have been dealing with now....

see the meds that we were supposed to destroy...as per deadline...are okay for them to try and resale....
back to fill their start up gaps and strain requirements....now....
