two seeds one cup ??

Has anyone ever used two seeds in one pot or is this a bad idea , I understand the risk if one is male but would there be any other problems if i planted two in one ?

If no one has any ideas ill post pictures and keep you all informed on how it works out

they compete for root space, nutrients and oxygen, so no, it's usually not the best idea

Normally, one plant would do well and the other wouldn't. It'd be a waste if anything at all. One plant per pot allows you to control what each individual plant is receiving from nutes and water.

Spend the extra 10 cents and give them their own cups

other then rootspace problems...they are 2 different plants that will require different things at different times. you could have one thats starved for food and one thats getting burned...if im growing more then one strain/seed...each plant gets its own nute mix...in one pot you cant do that...one or both will be suffering.

Ha suppose you have a point its not really the pot cost im worried about its about saving space and getting more into my grow room without taking up more room
