Two runs into same dish?

Can I blast a tube into a dish, switch it out for fresh bud, blast it in again and then purge it with all that butane in it? I only have one small extractor tube but I want to make more oil.

I don't see why that would be a problem. The only thing I would worry about is if the trim is different qualities then you would be mixing them together.

Yeah I do it fairly often, its not a problem but just takes the extra time(as youd expect) to purge.

Blast multiple dish, scrape to 1 parchment if quality is consistant. I know it's not what you want to hear but you don't want to have a nice pile of crystal yellow and then on the next tube with a different pack job start to see grunge pooup ur oil. If you've got a routine down and you know what to expect then of course it's no problem and people do it all the time. It's just in the first going's you might be fucking around with idea's like 2 coffee filters or maybe 6, that's kinda when you want multiple chances to nail the best quality even if the best was your last tube half full.

I always pick thru any trim like im sifting for gold, everything that looks like it has a nucleus goes in 1 pile everything that's free floating in another. Fuck the little nuggies must of added up to about 4 inches in my 24 inch tube, I knew I was facing down a squirt of oil. Man that squirt came out crystal orange and hard as a rock, the trim run of 15 times more yield was darker and only makes sticky shatter.

Well worth the extra dish in my opinion just to know there's super gold within that roughage.

It works OK up to a certain point. We switched to a deeper stainless bain marie container to allow us to do more of that and keep the humidity laden atmosphere floated up above the freezing line. We just wash it out of the deeper pot with ethanol and then winterize it.

Here are pictures of our stainless setup, as well as an early, multiple tube cannabis pie extractions.

Note the scientific grade cat litter bucket stand, notched at the bottom to sit over a dish or the bain marie setup.
