I'm thinking about flowering her when she gets about 7/8 inches tall. I know this won't lead to many bud sites and won't bring about much yield, but this is our first test grow and we plan on purchasing some good seeds for our next grow.

As usual, all questions and comments are appreciated. :blsmoke:
its ur grow, so if u feel u wanna throw her into flower then its all up to you, but we all would like to see you get some good buds from her, thats the only reason u would wanna wait a lil longer....if U really wanna go into flowering its up to you, it wont hurt the plant, only the final yeild, but this is your experiment... trial and error is the key. do whatever you feel now, just dont kill it, that way you will know what TO and NOT TO do next time around..

Thanks man. I'll think about it for a while. The main reason I am thinking about flowering that early is because our grow area is pretty limited. I thought that I was going to have something larger to move it into, but that fell through.
I have an armoire over my fathers house that I was gonna bring over here to use. Sadly, some people are living in my old room and using it now! Damnit, that would be the perfect thing to grow a few plants in. *sigh*

"She's" smelling delicious and growing well.

Since we had a problem with the original soil within the first couple weeks it grew slowly. So, it has plenty of nodes and leaves, but it's not very tall. I've been purposely placing the CFLs a bit higher than usual above the plant so it grows taller faster.

In the last image you can see that some of the leaves are turning slightly yellow at the tips. I assume this is from over-fertilization and I'm not too worried about it since I only gave it miracle gro food once a few days ago.

Also, some of the middle leaves have some yellow spotting going on. Should I be worried about this? It's probably just from lack of a certain nutrient.

I'm gonna let 'er grow another 3-5 inches and then I think we'll flower it. Yeah, I know it's early, but we're cramped for space (not to mention we can't wait to see the end product.) If we figure something out for space then I might reconsider. :peace:

so whats the latest on ur plants? did U throw her into flower?
She's coming to the end of day three of flowering. I would take some pics to show you, but I just got back from the hospital (had my appendix removed last night.) I'll post some new pictures tomorrow. She's looking great, though. :joint:

Have you thought of picking up a cheap piece of used furniture? Check the local Salvation Army or Goodwill or even weekend garage sales. You'll definitely find something to meet your needs. Just a suggestion....

Yeah, I definitely have thought about it. Again, the reason we haven't gone to find something is because we really have no money to work with. I'm sure we could pick something up between 30-100 dollars, but even that's outside of our range. Maybe I should give in and just get a part time job. ;(

Also, sorry I haven't uploaded any recent pictures like I said I was. Last night I passed out after taking a couple of the percocets I got perscribed. I never knew the stuff was so good. :hump:

She's looking good imo. Hopefully I'll be able to find some cheap bloom nutes to feed it.

There's nothing going on with the plant that's scaring me atm. No dying leaves or any of that bad stuff.

No apparent signs of sex yet. I'm hoping within the next seven to ten days to see something.

Sorry the pictures are kinda dark and blurry. The percocets made me kinda drowsy and.. yeah. I had to brighten the last image up a bit in photoshop.

How Old Is This Plant? How Tall Is It. It Looks Extremely Small!
At the time of the last pictures they were One month and Eight Days old. They are approximately 8" tall. It will at least double in size by the end of flowering.

Our grow area is pretty small so we had to flower early.

just read up your journal choob, looks good man. your using cfl's, you flowered at the right time, regardless of what anyone was telling you, im personally doing a test on some seelings, i first tested how much initial ppm's a seedling could take.

what everyone needs to remeber is when to flower is based on your conditions and lighting. if your only going to be able to have a cfl at the top of the plant, you might as well not waste time, and flower it early. otherwise you'd want a cfl on each side of the plant for about each 4 inches to get any great results.

Thanks Russ0r.

We kinda ran into a problem a while ago.

Our plant is out growing the 'box' it's in and I still don't have anywhere to move it. The top of the plant is starting to grow over the bottom of the light fixture. Right now there is no light above the plant and six bulbs around the sides.
It's about 13" tall and over the last few days the plant has started growing /something/ behind the stigmas. No sign of the actual sex yet, but I assume it won't be long.

The local flower/plant stores are just now starting to open so I'm gonna try and find some good flowering nutrients. :blsmoke:
