Two closet cfl grow

How's it going everybody. I thought I'd show off my latest project.

In my first closet I'm running Moby Dick and Super platinum OG. I just put those into flower and they both have a nine week time. It's week 2. Currently I have about 26,500 something lumens. Im using General Organics BioThrive Bloom, Molasses, and Snowstorm Ultra. I've also got an oscillating fan in there for movement of air. Here's some pic's


The second closet is just a veg spot. I've got two GDP's in there running under 13,000 lumens. Im Feeding these guys General Organics BioThrive Grow. I've also got a box fan in there to cool things off a bit. Pic's

Thanks man. I did LST on the moby dick and kinda let it turn into a bush. The triple OG was givin to me by a friend to rescue so I don't know what he did to that one. One of the GDP's in my other closet is topped so it's shooting off two branches that make it look like a fork. I'm probably going to start tying down the moby dick in some places.

Right on. I hear from my guy at the store there has been some really good news about it. Where did you order your seeds if you don't mind me asking.

Just a little report I picked up a small group of spider mites on the Triple OG so I quarantined it away from all of my other plants. Pics Coming soon.

Hey how's it going. It's been a few days since my last post. I've managed to annihilate the spider mites on both of my effected plants. I'll probably move the trip OG back into my main closet. Other than that I put my GDP's into flowering a couple of days ago. The moby Dick is doing awesome as well. Nice and dense for three weeks of flower time. Here's some pics. The first two are my OG and the last 2 are the Moby.

I'll post some pics of the GDP when It comes on here in a couple of hours.

Thanks for stopping by and thank you for the props. I have been thinking a lot about putting t5's in and i have actually used them before. The neat thing is you can get really really close without burning the leaves and stuff. I used to have two t5's in where the GDP's are but I always had a problem with stretching. I got rid of em cause I got a couple of hoods that hold 105 watters in em and those are about 6300 lumens a piece so I don't really have to have em as close to my plants and I don't worry about stretching or burning for that matter. Honestly if I had the cash I wouldn't be messing around with CFL's,( No diss intended) I'd have HPS but from another grow I'm doing at a different location the electric bill spiked from about 120 a month to 250 a month. If I did get t5's it would be a bunch of them.

I forgot to put my pics up of the GDP's last night. I got a hold of a six pack and totally forgot to post em so here they are. Nothing much of a change yet but soon they will be smelling up the whole house. I loves my GDP! I think IM moving my Trip OG back into it's home today as well so off to tinker with the lights!

Hey just a quick update. The girls are looking great. Been giving them a heavy feeding regiment and I'm gonna just hit em with some regular purified water. The smell is awesome. The Moby Dick has a nice Hazy smell and the other one smells peppery. When the lights go off it's a totally different story. I feel like Im walking into a small patch outside. The GDP's are doing great as well. They've only been in flower for a week so there really isn't much to show. I'm really stoked on getting those done though. Anyway here's some pic's. 2nd, I just saw Snowstorm Ultra and my local-ish grow shop.. saying it combined Purple Maxx and Gravity into one safer, easier to use product. I THINK. I was blazed then.. and am blazed now.. so thats just what I think I remember. Also they had it for a decent price I thought, might try it later in my cycle if you get good results with yours.

3rd, forgive me if this is a dumb question.. but Im not really familiar with names outside the basics.. OG, Blueberry, White Widow, AK47/8, White Rhino.. and a handful more. Can you give the genetics for your Moby Dick and GDP?

Sorry for bombing you with mad questions.. but they are good looking plants!! What size closet are they in?

Ryknow to answer your questions... where to begin. I myself am baked so bear with me if I don't make to much sense. With the snowstorm question. What they did was find out that they had two overlapping products in one thing. They took whatever snowstorm ultra is out of the purple maxx and they might have made it stronger or something. It's some crazy shit if your not careful. I've destroyed plants with this stuff. A friend of mine who works at the "store" told me that there is kelp in it so it slowly kills your plants. I decided to try it and both of these strains I'm doing right now are handling it pretty well. The typical dosage is 1tsp.

As for the strains I've heard that GDP is Big Bud x Purple Urkle. Moby Dick I think is a Haze x White Widow hybrid. I haven't really measured my spots yet but I will and I will definitely get back to you on that. Now Im off to smoke some hash and pass out. Hey what's going on. Got some updates. Everything has been going awesome. I'm noticing some purpling on the leaves of the Moby Dick. The Triple OG has been filling out nicely. I've still got everything on a heavy feed regimen. In a couple of weeks I'll be getting ready to flush the Moby Dick which by the way is living up to it's name. The buds are getting nice and huge and white with crystals. The GDP's are doing awesome as well. They are on week two of flowering on a heavy feeding regimen. Here are the pic's,

Yo really quick update. I came home and looked at the plants and I started noticing some purpling! I'm stoked. The buds smell awesome. Almost like Sour D. I snapped a pic to show you guys real quick. Let me know if I need to get a better one. I'm in somewhat of a rush. In the other room the GDP is doing awesome. More details and pic's on those girls will be up later on. Peace
