Twisted Leaves...Please Help!

Greetings Rollitup !

I have a question regarding my 2 week old plants here in DWC buckets. I am running two plants in 5 gallon dwc buckets. One of them is under a 120w LED and the other CFLs. I am noticing that my dwc plants have some leaves that look twisted and deformed...more so the one under the LED. now these according to my research are signs of heat stress and/or magnesium deficiency...it could also be a gnat infestation according to my research. I am trying to find out which of these is the problem or if it is a combination. I have been feeding 1/4 strength nutes and no other signs of deficiency are apparent so I doubt its a mag deficiency. There was a noticable gnat problem during the summer but it has since died down significantly since I used yellow sticky cards and Dr. Bronners soap. I am thinking it is most likely heat or light stress. I moved the LED higher away from canopy level and it is now at about 12" away. I also noticed some small openings at the side of the sliding doors and thought maybe some light could be pouring into my closet during dark hours...could this be the reason for the signs of stress on the leaves?

I have attached some pictures of the twisted leaves of the plants below...hope they help in identifying the problem.
Thank you in advance for any help!! Rollitup forums has always been a great help in the past. =) Peace everyone! :blsmoke:

Okay, so it's most likely an overfeeding problem...Nitrogen in particular. Noted. Thank you!

Other opinions are welcome! Although there may be an over feeding problem, I am suspecting there is something else because N is usualy just tiger claw leaves with bends on the ends...this is like fully curved with deforming leaves.

2 week old plants
got as clone did you spray for bugs ?

my luck every time i get a clone from someone either has mites or powdery mildew
Yes these were started as clones but from a mother I grew from seed. There was a gnat presence a while ago when I began their mothers but it has since almost vanished after using peppermint castile soap spray and yellow sticky bug traps. Thank you for your help :) and thanks to everyone else who replied. I will take the PPMs into consideration and will be looking into buying a meter. Thank you. :leaf:
