Twisted leafs

What is the main cause of twisting leafs? I had a meter go bad on me, and I ended up having some plants living in a solution of 5.0 ph for a week or so. The main problem that resulted was my leafs twisting big time. So, with my ph corrected, they have "mostly" returned to normal. Question~ Is this due to a lock out of some sort, or just because the plants did not like being in such an acidic solution? Anyone?

i dont know how much harm the acid environment did to your plants but i do know that i had a problem one time with my leaves twisting because of heat... the plants didnt like it and were trying get shade

Thanks, it does kind of make sense that the leaves would try to find shade...But heat was not so much a problem this time...Did your leaves fully flip upside down?
