twin kolahs w/o topping?!?!.pictures shortly

so i have these ogkush x thunderfuck seeds i was givin by a long distance friend and im doing the lst method 12?12 from seed, my plant showed sex at 31 days but astonished it is growing wierd shoots in odd places..ever started flowering a plant without topping it and it grew 2 top kolahs? weird right? ever had a side branch take over as top kolah and that also have 2 tops? CRAZY WEIRD?!?! ill post pictures when i send them to my email..kinda not good enough detail.

just mutated? or a trait of the mother plant since that was topped and it grew 3 kolahs?

the first one is my thunb over 2 tops that grew off of 1 side branch. the second picture is the top of the plant with 2 tips as well.

i grew BOG's Grape punch and it grew 2 main colas..i've seen power plant shoot off 3main colas w/out being topped to..and check out this clone i just got..its called Ice Cream from paradise seeds and it looks like it already has 3heads so it will probably have 3main colas

But what does it mean? Mutated genetics, some sort of extra yielder?

No this isn't my first lst. That's not m point the point is Certain branches just have more growth tips without me topping or supercropping like main kolah and a few side branches. It's deff exciting because I hav more growth tips. Just wondering if this is trait and abnormAl

I'll tell you why if you stop bumping your thread...

The plant has a growth inhibitor in the topmost growing shoot that makes it the dominant shoot. That is why topping and lst'ing do what they do, they remove or restrict the dominant shoot. Think christmas tree; the lower the branch is and furthest from the top with the inhibitor, the more it grows outward. Thus why many plants will show a conical shape if left unmolested.

The plant "senses" how tall each shoot is from gravity and if they are all the same height, they all will develope into tops! That is the reasons lst works like it does.

Thank you for explaining but I know this isn't my first time. I'm talking about certain branch tips and main stem developed more shoots. I'm saying I have one branch that looks like I topped it and 3 new shoots grew out same w main stem but only 2 tops.trick is I did nothing no cracks,tears,rips, etc just gentle ol lst

sometimes they grow funky. starting out at 12/12 may be causing yours. it's trying to flower, maybe.

O fed it's deff starting to flower but just with some funk. was that way from the begining when it's first set of 3 leaves only 1 side grew out.Do hermi plants always have ball on the bottom underneith the calyx's

I had a plant do this a couple grows back, was a seed from the same mother plant 2 other plants I had going were from. I believe the motherplant does have to contain whatever gene it is that causes this, but something specifically has to trigger it or it must skip the majority of offspring from the mother as the other two plants were normal. Didn't create and issue though, and definitely did not Hermy. Doesn't really answer your question but basically its a trait that from what i could find is sometimes triggered and the exact reason isn't really know. (My plant was also around 12/12 as it was outdoors late in season.)

Well this lettl plant is amazing but I think I found a ballsack in with the pistils.. It would deff be slot bulkier and look like it was sealed by having flap like tip yes? Thanks for that info. Yeah the other 2 are completely normal but deff not growing as agressively

not a huge deal IMO....every time I crack new seeds some end up growing more than one main shoot. As long as it is healthy, enjoy watching them grow, and if they are to be mommas, remember the tops dont clone as well so more than one shoot can be good and would give you more from the bottom to cut and clone.
