I was reading up on these McLCannabis guys and, after hearing numerous people say bad things about Tweed shipping in jars, I'm wondering how people feel about this: https://twitter.com/McLCannabisFarm/status/450382844511006720

I spoke with those in the MMAR program and other systems in place and they all recommend bags for product because it can be carried around and you have to have your prescription on your person, which is usually on the label somehow.

I personally prefer jars for storage/keeping. Plastic is not the best thing to store anything in really.. Jars keep bud "fresher" longer than any bag ever will. Bags may be more cost effective, but not the most environmentally friendly choice.

Hey oddish, Chad McLachlan here. Thanks for checking us out. Our priority is ensuring a quality product, glass jars are the best solution for quality. It would suck to have to carry around a jar to prove your legal, no denying that, we have some solutions we are working on to minimize the impact.

This is also a short term, temporary consequence of cannabis being listed in the CDSA.

@gb123

The price of jars and child proof lids is ridiculously cheap, much more so than regular mason jars. 3cents for the cap, 49c for a liter jar, 1c for the seal.

I personally would like a label to throw in my baggy, ya know a transferable label that you get on the shipping jar.... cause you still would have to show the cop your id.... don't think he would say oh that's ok you don't have id to prove your Mr. X like that label on your baggy, off ya go .... or why doesn't HC just give us MMPR patients all HC id cards with our little passport photo on it cost ya like $5.00 good to go.... with an access number so johnny law can fucking phone at anytime ...punch in the id number and it says if your legal???? oh gee was that so difficult to figure out, took me 1 min to think of

The problem with the whole label thing is that they are "treating this like other narcotics" (but not really). The "medicine" now holds the exemption, not the person using it. So even the LPs that issue cards or whatever they don't really mean shit. Unless you have your label on the bottle it came on you aren't "legal".

yea lets not make it confusing eh? label is only good on the jar it's shipped in but no other place LOL... yep like to carry around my jar ...precious jar ohh my precious irradiated crap mmmmm precious

I suppose it's like a narcotic prescription bottle ya can't have a non labeled bottle with say morphine in it and say it's your script

I was being very sarcastic as in..... someone got a deal and they chinced out to save a buck at the expense of the patient.
A vacuumed sealed scent lock bag inside a cardboard box with peanuts is safe simple and the best packaging anyone could want.

Once again. :)
Quality speaks volumes.
Shit work well, always requires explanation!

Because that makes perfect sense. I used to say the same thing about mining...if it makes sense...do the opposite and Harptler does that to the max.

This is my first post here and it's sort of sad I signed up just to help say like the rest this is not medication. Unfortunately I do not have connections to get good meds off the street, even when I was getting black market stuff it was low to mids. I really hope Tweed can pull this around as a big reason I went with them is they out of the bunch of LP's actually have reasonable prices if you are not a millionaire. I have heard there next batch is going to be ready in a week or so not sure how true it is might be a lie so they don't lose business, not like they lied before. I will only be ordering a few grams of what ever they have and if it's not any better anyone know a LP that is actually producing quality meds yet? I just might have to leave Tweed.

If they don't Irradicate, if they dry the product properly, if they cure and burp the product, these are all reasons their WEED is not Medical Cannabis, you need to go to their Stockmarket site and see for yourself that they care less about Patents, the word Patients is never mentioned, it is all about what they think future sales will be, how much Capitol they have etc. I have learned that Tweed is all American money, they believe that doctors will be signing for everything, got a sore back here is a Perscription for Cannabis, if you are licenced you know this is not true. becareful of people who Promise the moon, and tell you your money is safe here, please read, this is the criminal activity that is going on in the US Commercial Cannabis industry and most likely in Canada as well, please do your best to find alternatives such as Compassion Club Or a Designated Grower(caregiver) from the MMAR.

Welcome to the boards...... yeah a few of us are in the same sinking ship "SS MMPR" What I will suggest is make another doctor appointment to get him/her to sign ya up to a few more LP's for the sake of if they can't produce the meds you need to if they even stay in this market. might as well do this now as it will scrape time off if you NEED to change LP's in the future. Get the doc to make them all for your daily amount, as you don't have to split up your script. I have express this before many times if your not satisfied with the LP you signed up with please change as giving them more money hoping one day they will come through for you doesn't sit well with me, but of course that is your decision to do.

my bottom three so far are twerp, metriod, and broken back beach..... not the real names but I think you can figure them out.
This board is very good for information and don't worry about some guys as they aren't that angry all the time, everyone has a bad day once and awhile eh!

Hmmmmmm. So cheap is the reason? I think we're all taken a little aback by that.

I just had a look at your site. Whether it will load or not seems to be hit or miss, mostly miss. Lose the gmail. It doesn't look bad so far and it's certainly an angle that I can appreciate more than others. Good luck getting it going.

I think tweed says their shipping is "free", just like their mobile advertising pouch. But it's obviously being downloaded to the consumers through their pricing and glass is heavy.

It should also at least be tinted glass.

Hi Particle,.

Cheap is not the reason, its a bonus. Our wide mouth glass jars are likely much more expensive than any approvable alternative. I said it was cheaper than regular store bought mason jars which are quite expensive, and not approvable. The point is/was that going glass is not very expensive for producers, it works out to under 2cents per gram.

I have been looking for a source of wide mouth glass containers that are tinted with no success so far, and agree clear or transparent is not ideal. We will have a keep out of sunlight notice somewhere on the packaging.

Sorry about the site inconsistency. Can you expand on your gmail suggestion?

Thanks for looking at our site and for the well wishes.

Hi,

It's a bonus for whoever is not paying for the shipping of them I think. Yeah Mason jars do have a mark up already. One assumes that an LP would not be buying them regularly in the store however. Why wouldn't they be "approvable"? I imagine it just takes a child resistant gimmick? You know, for the sake of argument. So order some custom with a left handed thread. That will be perfect. Children will have no problem opening them because they don't know what convention is and will simply test it both ways, while adults will be bashing the jars open with hammers. In other words, equally confounding and futile as with any child resistant methods. But it's funny that that's what's required while "standard conventions" like UV protection..... *shrug*

Short of tint, which is probably easiest and more effective if you go the glass route, consider a heat formed label of protectant material, or in the very least wrap the paper all around the jar..which might it a concentrator if it's nicely reflective.. I'm not sure. Won't make for as nice a picture though either.

Honestly I wouldn't beat your brow too much over the perceived requirement of glass. It's a carry over of connoisseur snobbishness and pseudo experts that are more often full of it while 99% of the time people get it in a sandwich bag that doesn't even seal. Test their theories and you'll quickly find out how full of it they really are. That's just a trap and for the sake of it you'll be spending more in shipping and those broken during it.

Bags are "wide mouth", more so than jars, air can be squeezed out, fit in your pocket already, and since you can actually get your hand in it or cut it open it's easier to get the trichomes out that are stuck to the side than you can with a jar, while they pretend that never happens with them. And just think, storing crates of jars at your facility versus a box of flattened bags.. Hell, just the reduction in noise while handling them would be worth it alone.

What did you think of the "nitrogen" thread where we discussed things like MRE bags with oxygen scavengers? If you threw in a custom mini Boveda pack as well, just enough to last a week or two, people wouldn't really be able to complain. Well, most people, but I'd find a way.

Google... free email services are generally frowned upon. I'd think you'd want one in your own domain. It's hard to say because email is notoriously not private, but Google have designs for private information. That's also why avoid cloud services and social media like facebook, which LP's don't belong on at all.

A genuine presence on a forum like this that's not just shilling and involves real participation is something I can respect far more. An actual meaningful rapport. But as you probably know that takes work and most are allergic to it when bs'ing is so much easier.

I'd really look into why your site wasn't loading so well too, before you start getting more traffic.

Cheers.

PS: About the pictures on your site.... Hitler also loved dogs. Just sayin.

There are levels set out by the world health organization that we select to abide by in our practices as written in the Quality Assurance Part of the Application. They are in the parts per billion. The big problem is that TWEED brought in disease with the plants they got from MMAR patients. It is possible to start clean from seed with no disease as we have and keep it clean. It just requires a completely fresh start. I know it sounds very difficult to achieve but it is rather simple. Dandelions can only start from other dandeloins. If there is no powdery mildew to start then it will not be there till it makes it`s way in there.
the same thing happend to a few clone places its almost gota be like the pharmaceutical compound manufactures stations have you seen them fucken high power on not letting contaminates in..
