Tutorial to Growing with Cfl's

hey i have a question i accidenly bought the wrong kind of cfls. i bought 2- 200 watt equivelant bulbs with 2700k. my babys just sprouted 2 days ago will this harm them? one is an auto flowering white russian dwarf. i also have in there 2 100 watt equivelant with 3500k. all within 0ne -two inch away. thanks

should be fine theyll just stretch some, its like using an hps during flower itll work alright but not as well as an MH or 6500ks

thanks for clearing up why exactly people say tht cfl's are so good. actully i got sum in my house but im wondering?/im usong one 4' flourescent over some slow grow vegei's should i which to the clfs or just wait it ut with the 4' tube? also its three of my very first plants in three diff pots. lemme know wut you think doc.

Can u use cfl lights with High sodium bulbs e gether.

Doctor can I use cfl lights with my metal halide high sodium bulbs for extra light. Is this ok for veging and flowering or no.

what about making a circular arrangement of CFLs around your plant and one on top??

how are cfl for mother plants and cuttings. I do not want to grow indoors, just want to keep mother for cutting to set out next year

OUTSTANDING..!!!! They worked for me 30 years ago when I had no idea what I was doing, and they still work for me now........
Still don't know what I'm doin'...... But I Do have an idea or two now.

what do you think about 4100K bulbs. You think there gonna be good enough for growing all through veg and flower? or should I stick to 6500K bulbs for veg and 3000K bulbs for flower? has anybody just used 4100K bulbs all around before?

fucking awesome for veg man !

i got about 300 w of 6000k CFLs

and it supports 4 2-3' bushy mothers
15 1' clones
and about 20 clone cuttings.

i got more plants then i know what to do with at the moment

STAY AWAY.... unless for the garage.. or basement. Waste of $$$ for the Girls. 3000k to 5000k does nothing for them.

Getting ready to start my auto's Will use suggested light for veg. [CFL] Want to produce beans for constant grow in bean field. Was thinking of diesel ryder. Any thoughts? Will lose a lot of seeds cause will play with plants and how long to wait after roundup weed killer is sprayed. Cops have gotten good at finding in corn field, think they do not start till august. Could be in the field and out before they fly.

i have a couple of the 4100's they are white light and do work for for veg.

i had 1 of them vegging 1 seedling and it did grow very well

do they? I ordered some with this kit I got but I wanna change up the bulbs now. They gave me a 4100K, 3000K, and 5000K. I wanna change the 4100 and 3000. It said it was supposed to be good all around for vegging and flowering. I dunno tho what do you think?? I havent read a lot of grows with ppl using those bulbs ya know?
