As for milk, no I dont believe it should be regulated by the government.

I believe that there could be an independent laboratory like UL for electrical products that could sign off on the *safety* of the product like food. Large companies would keep many of the processes they have now as it is bad to poison your customers.
And how would you prove it was the company that poisoned you?

Is the kid going to read the label? I am responsible enough not to leave medication out where children can access it.

Requiring a label on pot food does nothing to promote safety.

Children's Hospital sees surge in kids accidentally eating marijuana
By John Ingold
The Denver Post

The new law, which was House Bill 1366, requires state regulators to come up with rules that make edible-marijuana products identifiable even when they are out of their packaging. Lawmakers suggested the products might all contain a unique stamp or be made in a particular shape or color.

Last year, the hospital saw eight children in its emergency room who accidentally ate marijuana. Of those, seven were admitted to the hospital's intensive-care unit — most commonly for what DiStefano said was either extreme sedation or agitation.

OMG noooooooooo!! Kids taking naps is now means for intensive care!!!! Do it for the children!!

Legal to grow, illegal to sell would keep goverment involvement out of marijuana

By making something illegal, the government just became involved didn't they?

I apologize for my inability to communicate this point well to you, but I'm not very conversant in contradictory logic, did you grow up speaking that or is it a learned thing?

If I was trying to convince a people on the fence about legalizing marijuana
I would have better luck convincing them this was no different than brewing your own beer.
LOok what happened in Florida recently. The anti pot movement told everyone legalizing medical would mean selling drugs to kids

JUst one question. Answer it.
WHy is it so important to be able to sell Weed legally?

There are two words you seem to have a hard time grasping the meaning of ....peace and freedom.

The agreements others make that do not concern us, do not concern us.

Can you grow weed in Arizona within 25 miles of a dispensary?

You can grow it in a vacant lot behind a police station if you have a gorilla suit.

USDA, FDA, inspections, zoning licensing, label requirements. Packaging, lab tests, segregated lot testing.

This is just some of what that glass of milk you drink goes thru.

Want full legalization of weed?
It will be even worse, and the big players will push thru legislation to keep you out of the market anyway.

Your examples are just more evidence as to why coercive government is the root cause of the problem.

Weed should be a plant, because it is. Grow it, eat it, sniff it, bake it, smoke it, vape it, sell it, give it away, put it in a pinata, roll around in it in bed, watch white women smoke it and boogie with a brotha, jump out of buildings and fly while high, feed it to your rabbit or weave a basket with it, do whatever you want with it, just don't take it if it ain't yours and maybe share it if you are inclined to. That is all.

Fuck all the busy body regulators, parasites and people that use the nuremberg excuse of "just doing their job" when they fuck people over. Fuck them all.

15.38 children [1] were hospitalized last year due to malnourishment caused by injecting [2] marijuanas.

Do you think a pot brownie is safe for a 4 year old?
Why do you ask? Have you been giving pot brownies to kids?
I don't think that's the best idea you've had this week...I've heard of adults who ate banana bread that was double-dosed (by accident) and had to call an ambulance for moral support while peaking.
Then they listened to Iron Butterfly, and calmed down.

Funny stuff. Pot infused candy being eaten by kids. And you wonder why the government wants to keep it illegal
