Make BEER! Grow a number of fruits and make a lambic! Mead can take quite a while. Plus, because of the bee shortages it might be a little too expensive to mess around with. My advice would be BLACKBERRIES. Grapes take years to show the true traits of their vernifera.
My $.02

Also, using "seeds" will take way too long!

Herbal Wines or Metheglin, honey-based wines in which the flavor is augmented by herbs. Why not use your sweet leaf to add flavor to your drink. Make beer with marijuana instead of hops.

That would taste pretty odd, theres a reason they use hops and its because it works great. Iv never had mead and they just started to stock it at my local store so what do u people the ones who have tryed it think about it? Is it worth a go or no??

If you get a chance, buy some and try it. It is typically pretty sweet. You can also make a mulled cider style hot mead. Add some mulling spices to the mead and heat it up.

On another note, anybody here ever tried their hand at distilling?

Strawberries, canned fruit juices.Wine & beer making stores carry grape concentrates so strong that one half gallon makes five gallons of juice.Buy the proper wine yeasts, they make the alcohol content higher than bread yeasts.I have done distillation, lots of work & money.A cheap method of extracting alcohol is freezing high alcohol wines untill the water freezes then pour off the strong.
