Turn Speakers or Dressers into a Stealth Cabinet

I came across this link while looking for ways to turn a small dresser into a cab. Check it out. looks pretty simple. I am driving into Austin to look through the goodwills for something to do this with.

The Goodwills in Austin suck, try Craigslist and Salvation Army.

Yeah I learned that the hard way. Craigslist sucks too though. People asking $100+ for a busted dresser. the hunt continues

Went around today looking at consignment shops and I think I found a good candidate.

whatever you choose...very soon, you will regret that you did not go bigger...bite the bullet...use your closet.

I do not know if it would fit your situation...but if you are thinking as small as a speaker cabinet...one or more trashcans sprayed white on inside work well for segregating a male to get pollen...and would do the same for a girlie.

yeah a speaker would be too small for me. I am doing bagseed, but a lowryder would probably thrive in a decent size speaker.

I plan on using the same plans for a dresser that is about 4 ft tall.

they were selling all white armoires at biglots for 50bucks awhile back, i was gonna get one, either that or a legit grow tent off ebay for about 20 more.

all i'm usin rite now is a rubtub turned vertical w/ a fan inside, hole for a vent, 3 cfl's, and a daylight led panel on the lid/door. it's working much better than i'd expected!

i guess your biggest question is, what type of lighting you will be using? if you can keep it near 65k your plants will be much more short and compact along w/ increased airflow of course...and smaller pots

I am using CFLs and 8 in pots. Right now I am growing bagseed, definitely sativa, so I am already LSTing like crazy. Instead of 8 inches candidate 1 is about 4in.

I really want to use a dresser bc my room mate is pretty straight edge. He will be curious about a big new armoire. Pretty much I will be copying setups I see in grow tents just putting it into a dresser thats been gutted and hinged.

I built and still use a box 2'x3'x4'...and after adding enough cfl's found that heat is an issue...now the 400hps is on top of the box w/air-cooled hood...and boy do I wish I had another foot!!!! (on all dimensions actually)

Considering your address...you should re-think this...no one should know...ESPECIALLY people who are not cool with it...you will not be able to hide this from someone living in the same house...for months on end...what if he says to another uncool friend, "I think my room mate might be growing pot" or says the same to someone who does smoke and is a scumbag and they rip you off or worse?

Besides...I'm pretty sure outside of Austin...possession is a hang-able offense in Tejas

I have successfully been going in my bathroom for a month and change. my room mate never leaves his bedroom and we arent friends. If the smell isnt too bad then I think I will just keep the grow going in my bathroom. or create a single plant cab out of two medium sized trash bins. my plants are still very small. I just recently got the soil and watering right so I have a while I think before I go to flowering and it becomes more risky.

I actually live right outside Austin in a college town. No one but my girlfriend knows I am growing and we live together. I dont think anyone would rat me out because then they would have to cover my portion of the rent.

The plants have taken over my bathroom as well
