Thanks much :) Sorry pineapplelover, no animal shaped pipes yet. Dont know how to make animal shapes ;)

Put up all the new spoons, hammers, and bubblers on www.kittysglass.com - they wont ship for 3 days when the shipper actually receives them and then packages em up.

Really cool stuff Kitty. Do you think you could make a spoon that's Red/White/Blue(like in my avi) with a star right on the front of the spoon head where a swirl would normally be?

fdd did ask for one for his butt, I told him I didnt have enough torch for one that big. :) 43Hit: I'll give that a try later for sure, just a matter of finding the right colors. The Star could be an encased marble too, which would be pretty easy to do on a spoon. Keep checking back I have a few requests in the queue right now too.......

how longs the queue for custom made pipes ?
Right now I have 5 custom pipes 'in the works' from here............ I'm slowly getting to them, and sadly not prioritizing them because I'd rather they come out right than rush them! :)

For black spoons, those are a little funky. Either you can use black tubing, black frit, or black color stringers to color the pipe. The tubing is the fastest and most 'black' of course.

The hardest part about custom requests is that everyone wants something *very* specific. I'll use fdd as an example, I can make pipes, so can he, but he cant make pipes like mine and I cant make pipes like his without learning the specific steps and methods........ After time and instructions ours could look similar, but you'd be able to tell who did what I think. fdd makes pipes using solid glass, I use tubing. Two totally different methods...... So when a customer says "I want one that looks like THIS, then you have to figure out how that one was made and do your best. Its hard, but possible.

Adding simple things like basic colors is pretty easy, but when one customer asked me for an Elk shaped one with a specific horn pattern, I was like "LOL No". :)

Dude, I love the clear glass bubbler... I've checked out like 10 headshops in my area, and not ONE of them has any good handheld bubblers.

Rkitty, would you like to make me one of those? Maybe not with the swirls... just straight glass bubbler... I like how it has a downstem into the water... and thats its all visible... If you could make me one of those... I'll pay whatever it costs + the shipping.

Lemme know bro

*edit* Something identical to the clear glass one in the foreground.... I really like that one... maybe could you make the carb hole on the right side of the bowl instead of on the back of it... and no swirls on the handle... and I will easily pay 30 - 40 bucks

Some new stuff.........

My first Sherlock..... The next one will be even better I hope. ;)

This bubbler has a goofy bottom, it isnt perfect. I do like the coloring on it.

So after the one above, did this one where the bottom is perfect and changed the neck to cobalt blue and silver fumed the bottom instead of coloring it. This is the prettiest table top I've made so far.

Its about 12" tall.

I had a few more spoons made up for a friend, didnt get a chance to photo them though. That's all for now, all of them are on kittysglass.com.

Thanks! I'd be happy to make you a clear hammer bubbler handheld that's basically just a hammer with no ripples or curves.. Would you like silver fuming on it so it color changes as you smoke it? Let me know and I'll crank it out.

How does $25 sound plus $5 for shipping instead. I cant charge $40 for those, its too much!

Just made your bubbler....... If you want it: http://www.kittysglass.com/2010/10/supgee3s-clear-hammer-bubbler/

Thanks much! I took two "classes" by way of having two individual glass blowers who are local-ish to me stop by and show me a few things. For the most part, I learned via YouTube and practice. YT sucks, there's limited stuff to learn there. If you start a glass thread of your own let me know, I'd love to subscribe.

talkglass.com is a good site, the people there are assholes though

lampworketc.com is another one, but more geared to people making beads and pendants, not much for pipe makers.

tokecity.com is nice too, but that's really really advanced glass blowers there showing off more than novice friendly or instructional help.

thanks for the info kitty, i probably won't make a thread, not until i get it down anyhow lol  but im sub'd here
i think 1 or 2 classes might be worth it, i have few places locally that do these classes, might also look into a dvd on glass blowing
i'll definitely keep an eye out over here cya
