MikeY: Awesome. I know how hard and long you have worked to get here. Can you pm top pics? Now that I have things together out of three plants only one is a girl, so she has the pod to herself for now, and is fattening up very nicely. I am attempting another Monster Clone in my bubbler- too early to tell though. On one hand I am excited to see whether she duplicates the monstrous photo that was posted here awhile back; on the other I would not want to deal with the possible health issues

So we're Aeronauts. T-Shirts anyone?

Verry nice man... But you already knew that! Good to see your nozzles are doing the job too- that's pretty good proof. I am glad you went through with testing them. It's always nice to know working aero nozzles are as far away as the local Home Depot- and cheap too! Had to rep u on this one- well deserved! Btw- what are your rootzone temps running at, and what ec/ppm r u currently running? Oh yeah, and also good to see your innovative root chambers are doing the trick too... :)
I'm not entirely sure what the root zone temp is. I assume that it's pretty close to what the outside temp is. It's fairly chilly weather where I'm at. I keep a heater mounted about 5' high. Keeps the lower half of my room 10-15 degrees cooler than the top. Works great. I'm having to do some adjusting of things, as I flipped over to 12/12 yesterday. That's right, those roots still got 2 months to "fill out", lol. I'm still around 350 ppm. H&G A&B, silica, pro tekt, bleach. Gonna bump it up to 400 next fill.

Edit: I meant pro tekt & cal-mag.

You can see my un-even coverage in the roots on the left. Still happy, but there's an obvious dry spot. I think 3 nozzles per chamber (in my case) would really give me solid coverage. I'm probably not gonna fuck with it this time around.

I might be able to do that. I can tell you that I'm not pleased with the strain/genetics. It's thin, and doesn't grow very vigorously. I've done my best to top it, and strech it out in the scrog net, but she better be a performer in the late stages cause I'm not impressed.

You ever thought about growin a plant out for awhile before throwin her into flower? :) Nothin but respect.

This late harvest clone is coming along nicely. Pic came out great! Like the heavens are shining down upon this lovely plant.

I'm thinking I will let her go in a dwc w/air stones. I'll be able to see how it performs, and in a little over a month get clones primed for next go around.

Whats up Mike, Pet and Fatman? Well my shit is looking so lovely right now after those difficulties. Matter of fact you could never tell I had an issue. Colas are bout as fat as a water bottle. Shit is super frosty, I just started flushing and switched to 10/14. This crop with CO2 and all my enviroment control has blown the doors off of anything I have ever seen. I'm ecstatic!! Pics upon request PM of course.

First the T-Shirts: A mad scientist (like the one in Robot Chicken) wearing goggles, hair blowing, riding on a mister with mist billowing out.

I'll toss out a few ideas other than (and you could well be right) the genetics: What light config are you using? I went to HO T5s and use aquarium bulbs (available in similar spectrums to LEDs) so I can control amount of blue/reds. Also, I find my nutes get 'tired' after ~ 5-7 days. When I change them I notice the plants seem to make growth spurts. I find aerating and chilling my rez helps, too.

As to vegging a plant longer: I have yet to buy seeds with known phenos. My last surviving plant was grown in F & D and outgrew my space. Had to snap her at about 3ft. By mid flower she was ~ 4' X 4 X 2, with ~ 10 @ 3ft long side branches- I even had to bend the main stalk sideways. I had no room for any other plants.

Working with my Indica/Sat cross now (mother was Sat dom). Sigh, 2/3 are males, and again I have no idea what traits the lone female will exhibit yet.
That part of the saga has yet to play out. And due to not enough rooms in the Inn, I had to move her into bloom room when she was barely 3" tall. She is filling out and already has a pretty white hat.

I took one more potential Monster Crop clone, but she hasn't rooted yet, but even if she does the mother was < 16" and not particularly bushy, although she came to me with health issues, so it's hard to know what she might look like when fed properly in an Atomized Mist Aero environment.

Corrugated sheet for the top. EXCELLENT idea! And, you can blow a small fan across it so that the air pushes through the corrugations, further cooling light generated heat.

Anyone know how to attach pictures to a private message?? I tried sending you guys some pics but it only allows me to attach a picture url weblink to the private message. Let me know whats up so I can send them. Here is a sample to hold you over in the meantime.

I don't really have heat problems, but corrugated plastic is sweet. I don't think my choice of lighting is bad. 400 hort MH, and 600 hort Hps for flower. I'm gonna stick with shitty genes. =)

Just wanna say, I love my pressure switch! Don't know why I waited so long to use one. I know it's not really supposed to work this way, but my tank never drops below 95 psi. Even though my cut in is set at 80, the solenoid kick dips the needle enough at around 95 to send the pump pumping. In my case that's about once per day. Very nice. Guess I won't be needing a pressure regulator anytime soon.

I just replaced the Rubbermaid top with one like MikeY. Holy Crap. The white surface has nearly doubled the light. Thanks for the picture, or I would not have connected the dots. Have a beer on me.

Chop Shots. Note the root system is loaded with fine laterals, which surprised me since it was grown in soil. All my other soil roots were much thicker. Nuggz are very tight

The roots look better than the plant actually... Looks like it might give you a few happy days nonethless ;)- give a smoke report. I think when you use an airy soil and don't water too much they tend to look like this. I only water soil pots when the plant just barely starts to lose rigidity and my roots tend to look like this pic. I also follow the thinking that a little stress on a plant makes it stronger. And definitely letting roots dry out a tad forces them to branch out and seek- while getting good o2.

Just upload to datafilehost.com and email the link they give you... Atomizer taught me this and it's a good gig.
