So most of you may not recognize the name "Madd Farmer Genetics" but you soon will...!!!

A dude from northern California (Emerald Triangle area), started this years ago, and he finally decided to bring it to the net, to share the love.

He holds some of the best cuts around, including the original Purple Urkle... not some copy cat from these commercial seed banks... but the original. He also holds cuts like the original Grim Bros C99 and Kyle Kushmans Strawberry Cough.

Anyway... I can go on... but I know the dude personally, which is why I was able to get these great genetics to test and show off for him. I've smoked this mans weed personally... and its some awesome, awesome stuff. Purple, floral tasting goodness, that will put your ass out!! I'll post some pics of the buds in a second.

So this is Tripoli Wicked from MaddFarmer genetics.

The other beans pictured here are his Purple Jacky's. Which is a Mendo x Purple Urkle. Those will be coming up in the near future.

Tripoli Wicked phenos are in the middle. The one I like the best is pheno #8. Its a dark purple, that taste like a flower shop on fire, after just eating some sour grapes. LoL. Doesn't look to bad either...

This stuff put me on my butt. So Im hoping to find a pheno #8 in this batch of 8 beans.

He's from Northern California. Been growing and breeding all his life. He's been underground for some time and just recently came out into the light to share his works.

Im not one to buy into breeders crazy hype.... So Madd Farmer hooked me up with some buds and they shut me up real quick. This Tripoli Wicked #6 pheno, is up there in potency with the clone only's around California. The taste is floral with some hints of grapes. The bag appeal is awesome. You cant go wrong with frosty purple buds. Plants grow short and fat and very Indica dom. For those that like a strong, narcotic, bury your ass in the couch type of Indica high... then this is a good one to grow.

I only have 7 of these plants going... So Im really hoping t0 get this pheno #6 in my batch. Hell... maybe I'll find something even better. I'll be putting these into flowering in about a month.

Any updates?
I'll have some updated pics in about a week. Plants just got moved to there new location and there settling in some.

if your freinds why not clones?
Mmmm.... A friend would help him search through beans, instead of just asking for cuts that he had to put hard work into finding. You know what I mean?? Plus theres no fun in just getting a clone. Now if I dont find the pheno that Im after, I'll probably hit him up for a cut. But then again... I may find something better then what the breeders found. So seeds are the way to go. You gotta put in work if you want the best.

genetics are one thing
Yup...

Hey bro awesome thread +rep, i've never heard of those genetics I've mainly been fucking with Gage Green (Grape Stomper x OG oudoor right now) and TGA subcool beans.

These looks like some promising genetics though i'm super interested and definetly subscribed.

Looks like some straight dank man, I'm also interested in where you can get beans of Madd Farmers Genetics.

So before I post these pics, Id like to make sure that everyone knows that these plants took a pretty bad beating because of my accident and the fact that they were pretty much ignored for a while. They caught PM and spider mites, because I had to open my veg area allowing outside elements inside. Luckily I'm pretty good at getting rid of all that shit. Even more so that Im still in veg and was able to hit them with some pretty harsh chemicals. On top of the PM and mites, reservoirs needed changing and didnt get changed... PH went without being checked for weeks. Plants were too crowded, making them grow tall and skinny, with all lower growth yellowing and dying off due to a lack of light. My light timer got reset, so the plants started to go into flowering. This was about a month ago though, and since then, the plants have converted back to veg completely.

So these plants health is far from what I usually have, and to be honest, its a little embarrassing to even post pics of them. I've been nursing them back to health for a little over 2 weeks now. By next week, Im going to flip the lights and start flowering to get this show on the road. I hope everyone enjoys...

Tripoli Wicked. This strain and my StarFighter seem to be the toughest strains in the room and bounced back faster then any of the others. Really bushy, short, strong growth.

StarFighter is in the near, left corner. All the rest of this screen is all TW.

how can I get some of MF's gear?
Head over to Cannazon and hit him up in the forums there. His gear may be available on Cannazon as well. He has a bunch of pics up... So you can see all of his work, and other grow journals of his gear, like mine.

Yes... I'm running some of Gage Greens gear right now. I have a few other testers from them that I'll be starting soon. Inferno OG is one of them. Should be real nice. As far as Madd Farmer... I've smoked the buds from this breeder and the guy knows his shit and has some killer genetics. He's from northern california, where a ton of great CA genetics comes from. Subcool is awesome too. I have his Jack the Ripper, Vortex and 3rd Dimension going right now. That guy mixes potency and fruity flavors in just about everything he does. He recently crossed the SoCal clone only cut of Bubba Kush with his Jack the Ripper. Its hard to go wrong with a cross like that.

Their not just Wicked.... or even Doubly Wicked..... Their Tripoli Wicked..!!! :D

So these fatties are doing great. Their staying short, thick, with fat ol leaves. I'm getting a tiny bit of stretch on one pheno, but the other 2 are hugging my screen. I do hope to get some stretch out of these... otherwise my yield is gonna suck. I may even need to go through and remove a bunch of the big fan leaves. Those leaves are huge, and while thats good and all... those big leaves are taking up prime real-estate that needs to be occupied by buds. So I'll figure that one out later.

So here's some pics of them on about day 3 of flowering. Cant wait for the buds to start developing...

Tripoli Wicked @ Day 8 Flowering

So it looks like I have 2 different phenos here. One that has real wide leaves, think branching and not much stretch. Then I have another pheno that has thinner leaves, with skinner branching and has a good amount of stretch.

So far, so good...

Tripoli Wicked @ Day 12 Flowering..

So I was worried about these not stretching enough, and then the one hiding in the back went wild on me and shot way up there. So I have one pheno with a bunch of stretch, then one with some but not too much... then the 3rd pheno is still hugging the bottle screen. I'll definitely need to support a few branches now.. so I'll be putting a trellis up on this table as well.

I got some nice little clusters forming.. they got a nice new batch of nutrients mixed for em the other day, so they'll be nice a happy now. Im also cranking up the Co2, warming up the room a little and adding just a pinch of some Bloom Boosters. All is well.. and looking good.

The pics....

Tripoli Wicked @ Day 24 Flowering...

Dun, dun dun....!!! I present to you... the frostiest strain in my room so far. I have 3 totally different phenos here. One short and fat... Once tall and skinny... and one thats in the middle. All looking just as frosty as the other... but if I had to pick one... it would be the tall and skinny pheno, that seems to be the most frosty.

Smells range from florally to rotten fruity. Very nice smells.

The tall and skinny one is falling all over the place... so like I posted in my other thread... I need to hurry the hell up and get my trellis up over this table.

So here's the pics... enjoy..!! OH.. and I tried filtering out the yellows from the HPS, but as you can see, it didnt work too well. So dont mind the colors... there a little funky looking.
