Trimming, Not Topping, Autoflowering Strains

I have looked all over the forum but have yet to find a straight answer for my question. I know it's a bad idea to top, fim, and clone autoflowers because they mature with age rather than via photosynthesis.

Check my sig journal for more info on my grow if needed. I have four female automatic AK47 plants, and they are getting pretty damn bushy.

Will trimming the lower leaves help me or hurt me?

Will it stress the plant like topping it, resulting in stunted growth?

or

Will trimming the lower leaves increase the nute flow to the budsites and main colas?

I posted one of my journal pics to show what I'm talking about. Any knowledgeable advice is most appreciated and rewarded with rep. Thanks!

why trim the lower leave when they arn't hurting a thing.its the upper leave that block light pending on the lights you use.

I was under the impression that the lower limbs block the nutrient flow to the budsites. Isn't that why people lollipop? I've read it over and over, but not about autoflowers... Is that not right?

i dont think you can clone with autoflowers....
I'm not cloning. You can't clone autoflowers. The first post specifically says that.

never grew autos before.....post results if you lollipop them please....
I probably won't lollipop these, but I'm starting some auto White Russians soon, and I might lollipop them. Keep an eye on my journals.

lollipoping is done to give allthe nute, and energy tothe upper bud sites. and thining or trimming is done so that the light can penetrate threw the plant to the inner and lowwerbuds tomake for a better yield.:hump: and nicer buds.:joint:

How do they differ? And can I lollipop autos? Thanks for the info, it's pretty much the same as what I've read.

leaves that arnt photosynthesizing will die off alone and be cannibalized by the plant so its better to not take anything off. just bend to allow light in.

Both, actually. It will stunt the upward growth, but the buds will fill in faster and thicker. If they start to get too tall for you, go for it. you'll get close to the same weight either way. one will have tighter nodes and thicker buds, the other will have long space between nodes and budsites.
Just clipping 2 of the lower ones during veg will severly stunt upward growth.
