trimming in flowering stage?

hi
im growing an outdoor plant right now and its been about 4 months. where i live the light cycle is 12-12 all year round. my plant is fairly small to others i've seen online, is skinny and tall, not bushy. I want it to be bushy for better buds and i know you can trim the apex of plant off to allow outwards growth. but since my plant is already budding would it be worth it to take that one cross section off? or should i just leave it alone and get what i get?

Leave it alone. You should have topped it or FIMmed it when it was in veg stage to get that bushy effect.

i agree with the other dude, do not touch it, should do all trimming and/or topping in veg
