Edit: unless you have an estimate for me don't bother replying....... Thanks

You really think you are going to get anywhere close to an accurate number on this?

This is as bad as the "my plant is 2 weeks in veg, how much will I yield" threads..
Disagree but thanks for the input, plus Im not asking for an accurate answer I'm asking for an estimate

About a pound...

Nobody can accurately estimate the thc content of your plants anymore then they can tell you how much you are going to yield... Not accurately anyway.

10% how's that?... No wait.... 7.5%

Come on dude.. Lol

But anyone can tell me their personal preference on how much trim they generally use to make pastries ? That's all I'm looking for, I never asked for someone to tell me how much THC is on my trim or how much I will yield.

I think someone who makes edibles for dispensaries would have a good estimate. I bet they know roughly how much the trim usually works out to for them, like say half of the bud THC level. I'm sure someone will have an answer for ya.

Somewhere between 1% and 25% THC.

The THC content of your trim is determined by the potency of the plant itself.

I'm growing Lemon Kush right now Herbies says it's 21% THC so just go check out the breeder info on whatever seeds you used.

If you used bagseed then you'll need to send a sample to a cannabis lab to have it evaluated.

None of us are going to be able to tell you how potent the trim.

You did ask for average THC strength but as far as how much trim it depends on the size of your baked good batch. Most people I know use half an ounce of trim to make decent brownies and a whole ounce to make potent ones. Is that what you needed to know?

Yes! Exactly. Thank you. I got my seeds from a seed bank and the buds and trim seem very potent already and drenched in crystals. I'll throw an ounce of trim in a batch tonight and let you know how they turn out. Thanks

Happy Baking man. I used a half of mids one time to make brownies and my friends seemed to enjoy them. How are you going to be using the trim? Are you making oil, cannabutter, something else?

I've only ever used oil before so i will probably stick with that, I also got quite a bit of shake I might as well throw in there too. The big question is...... What pastries do I wanna make

I kept it simple and went with brownies. Still got a few ounces of shake left though, any suggestions?
I take all my shake and convert it to dry sift which is a super simple process of running it through screens. With the dry sift I can smoke or vape it straight up, take what I need and make edibles, or my favourite coconut oil caps. I prefer the sift for edibles or caps as it's much easier and a more consistent way of determining dosage/potency. Sift potency will vary with strain of course so I keep my sift separate and mix it sometimes to capture more cannabinoids in my caps.

If I were you and had made my brownies I'd either make more edibles but cookies because I love cookies or or or I would try to make some bubble hash or rosin, whichever was easier, or maybe both. I've never had a concentrate in my life so I'm really looking forward to making some of my own.
