I chopped one down! Two are still going, their trichs have a ways to go and they could fill in some more. Here is a pic of the one i chopped, enjoy!

Ok so i was just messing around with the microscope and i noticed I have only been looking at small leaves coming out of the bud and not actually the bud. The leaves are showing a little amber but the bud is showing none? WTF? Did I harvest the first plant too early? Should i have been looking at the tichs exclusively on the bud? I have read many people on here cut the small trich coated leaves to look under magnification. So why are the trichs on the actual bud behind the tiny leaves coming out of it? I'm confused?

Anyone able to answer this?
the most accurate method, to see where the entire plant is at, in maturity, is to take several trich samples from lower branches (near your popcorn nuggies), and somewhere in the middle of the plant, and a 3rd from a frosty "cola leaf".. that way you can get an all-around idea about the entirety of the plants stage. looks fucking nice though dude. keep us up to date on that dry weight yield! im about 2 weeks behind where you are at, same strain.

Hey Dude! Thanks for the quick help! Your response so far, is the most well thought out, and I will go with it! Keep posting dude! I'm very interested to see how your grow comes along! Check my other threads if you want to see my progress! I threw out some dried but not all the way cured AK bud tonite, it was a success with my friends! Wait til you see the bubble hash you get from it as well! Happy New Year!

I noticed some red trich's on the second bush on friday, wasn't all the way flushed so I let her go til monday and chopped her then. I'm hoping she will dry in ten days. I have them hanging in a dark room with 45% humidity and keeping the temp around 65F. the first plant I harvested was kinda early and I'm afraid I dried her too fast. We will see after three or four weeks of curing in jars if that green harsh chlorophyl taste dissipates. Enjoy the pics!

It's been close to a month curing these. They are starting to get some smell, gonna smoke some now and see how it is. The pics are buds from the first plant I cut, that jar gets stinkier every day I open it! The other two jars look good, but the buds are less dense and sugar coated.

Depending on how much you've flushed already, I would harvest soon, like asap, if you havent flushed at all then you should flush for a week...but if your going for all amber its going to be a lazy high, which is great for night time smoke. Some people like to stagger their harvest and have the same strain just with some mellow difference in the type of high. If I read right you've already harvested some awhile ago, maybe Im wrong, or it was a diff strain...I like to harvest at about 50% milky/50 amber to try and get the best of both worlds, but were all different in what we like. Regardless thats some premium candy you go there, makes me want to get some ak48, seriously nice looking nuggets...if possible keep curing some even longer, a 2month cure does wonders for the smoke, prob not make it any more potent but super smooth and tasty smoke is what I shoot for, it all gets me high but Im all about the taste...its most important for me to enjoy the taste of the bud. Great job, way to be patient with the cure...growing is a science, curing is an art....Peace!
