Trichomes or Hairs?? Help a Newbie

ok so got some females got what looks like trichs but smaller with no resen cap, 7 weeks into flowering unkown strains no real solid smell also,it is bag seed
so the question is where is my smell and where r all my trichs and whats the real fine whitish/clear hairs that r much smaller than my lil bit of trichs.

the small hairs u describe are called cystolith hairs. they contain no thc. some strains dnt produce a lot of trics. tric production is genetic, but a lack of could also be caused by the grower

Dunno what strain it is, but I would let that go for another 3-5 weeks... can't see it close enough... but just my opinion

its possible yr strain has a long flowering period. some are as long as 16 weeks. in this case tric production may be yet to come.

A better picture would help too :) I do see what appear to be a few trichs in one of your pictures but it's not really close enough to say for sure. Get a close up macro shot.

there deff there but doesnt look like alot.. this is the reason people buy seeds.. do u know what kinda weed this seed came from ? that could help to kinda tell u a flowering time.. flowering times i find are RARELY on the money... i have strains that finish quicker then they say.. and some that take way longer then the breeder says.. so its really a toss up... need to fnid the right pheno.. ive had some good bagseed success.. gotta get a scope to check the trichs.. if there clear u got time.... if there cloudy and starting to amber up.. ur ready.

yes i know the origin of the seeds the product was so smashed like a key smaller than a bible and no where near the amount of stigma i got now so...........
got a scope they r clear ........................
...................but no smell two weeks ago the room and the whole 25' hallway stunk like skunk(baby skunk)ha..............

the trichomes are crystals that give bud the frosted look. you have them too!

the thing is they really arent crystals. and you cant really see them (well) without a magnifying glass. go get one, x10 atleast.

30x,45x,60-100x there r not a whole lot there used to br more and the plants used to smell too now less of each the smell and trichs
