Trashcan Grow

Now that over a week has past since adding my light tube the buds forming all down the stems show me it was a good idear.:hump: I try to turn them when I water. One picture looking down the stem shows what was bear stem now has 11 buds:hug:

The tube did push my temps up to 90F. I switch one fan blowing in and left the other blowing out. I put a better fan in but it was too loud. With the fan blowing in I removed the carbon filter for more air. If it smells too much I will add a third fan. 2 outs one in to restore the reverse pressure.

that is awesome stealth if it were to be outside. unless you somehow hook up a long ass extension cable from your house to it, it will not work outdoors.

it would be pretty weird to have a huge shiny trashcan in your house and even more weird when you run to another trashcan to throw garbage when the shiny trashcan is in front of you LOL.

This is my first good indoor grow but what is happening ?
My plants have been flowing for 5 weeks, the one with the spots 6 or 7 weeks. The PH in the plant was (is) high 7.5 – 8. Must have been the bone or blood meal. Should I try and fix the PH or just let it finished ? I read the section here on sick plants and believe the high PH is the problem. I had to over water them because I went away. When I got back this plant was still wet while the others needed water.

Should I do any thing ?
Also the light tube has the plants forming nice buds all down the inside of the stems

I thought the big bud was done but seeing https://www.rollitup.org:80/2616860-post1.html the trichome is still clear. I bought the little 12 dollar raido shack scope. I have no way to send what I am seeing in the scope. Once I saw a trichome I knew I was looking at the right thing. I will send photos of the girls this week. The buds are getting fater. One plant the inside smaller bud is now the big bud, it grows touching the light tube, will try and get a shot of it but every thing is attached to the springs so moving them are hard. I know you just want photos.

Well this one her trichomes are getting cloudy. About one in 4. No amber yet. I will take her when she is cloudy.

This one has 10 times as many tricomes but they are all clear.

last one just to look at.

With the end of the leafs having so many more trichomes do any one know if I cut just the end of leave and buds where all the trichomes would it be twice as potent ?

Thought I share what worked and what didn’t.
I got over an oz of good bud, don’t own a scale but I would guess 1.5 dry.

The light in the glass tube in middle made the inside bug mush bigger. At first I had no fan on the glass tube but one light only lasted a week.

The grow stayed 70 – 80 the whole grow.

Filling the can with a couple inches of water when gone for 10 days worked.

The one layer of carbon filter didn’t work, smell got bad and needed to move it outside. With it being a trash can no one noticed it the whole grow.
tried to send pics but upload just wouldn't work

will try to upload the glass tube shots later

This is a pretty ingenious idea, so i gotta hand it to you, even if all didn't go smoothly, and I think you harvested too soon.

Why not raise the garbage can off the ground - they make carts with wheels for these things - and then air cool it pulling off the top into a carbon filter? I can't think of a way to seal the lid to the light, but if the only air intake is in the bottom of the tube, it may not matter much...
