i got a male im thinking of taking it into this huge river by my house and planting it there for kicks. can i still get bud off it or will there be 0 buds at all

No, you wont. The buds are clusters of female flowers. Males make pollen sacks. They still contain thc and that but its in much lower amounts so males can be made into butter or oil, it will just be alot weaker than stuff from a gal.

If you have some other genes (females?) why not do some breeding? I saw post on here a while ago, and it opened with "most people trash their males, I say why not breed" or something like that. Anyway, possibly give it a try? I have always wanted to myself :/

its just random seeds from a 40 year old tweaker so i donno if its worth even getting pollen from its a fucking beast tho but shit.

Males just seed your girls, trash it. Nowadays I just buy feminised seeds, no males at all to bother with.
