Transporting Plants Inside?

I have a patch of banana peppers growing outside, and its now november. If i were to transplant into 5 gal buckets and bring inside under a hps on 12/12 will they continue to grow?

If not, what do i need to do to keep them alive and growing? There are obvious "sites" where peppers are about to flower and TINY peppers that just never got a chance, that is why i'd like to keep growing them.

Any insight would help?

I can't see why it wouldn't work. You don't really have a choice if you want them to grow more, I mean it is November n all..
